I see a lot of love for CV but for me, it seemed to outstay its welcome and would not end. To the point my enjoyment began to wane. Isn't it one of the longest RE games to play through without speed running? It came on 2 discs as well right (on Dreamcast)?
Here's my order of preference
RE 1
RE 5
RE Zero
RE Outbreak
RE 6 (yes I know a remake might address the balance a bit)
RE CV
RE Gu...
The description says there will be more "adult-themes" than what is shown in the video/trailer as part of the gameplay.
RE 1 with the same style as these other remakes. It would be nice to play the game without the fixed camera angles. RE HD came out 8 years ago believe it or not.
Or
Resident Evil 5 because co-op play might be really nice and I think they could do some nice things (graphically) with the African setting which makes 5 stand-out. 8 and 4 both have very European vibes, Africa would be a neat contrast to these.
@Sully's
Not sure why, although doesn't this happen with all new electronic devices over history? I can understand the sentiment due to the high cost when compared to the Meta Quest, but they are two different devices catering to separate needs under the same "VR" umbrella. It does appear that some media outlets are not understanding the long-term strategy of the likes of Meta, and SONY etc. I do find it weird that many keep mentioning that "Microsoft...
Let's hope the modders can get the other Crysis games working in VR as they use the same Cryengine.
LONN is currently sold on Steam for £20. Seems like a great price for PSVR 2. Only problem is, gaming media seem to want to push the narrative that PSVR 2 launch is a massive failure due to "only" 270K sales in its first month.
Now I've seen it all. Console wars between the same console manufacturer.
I jest, my ZX Spectrum 128K was better than the ZX Spectrum 48K. The Amstrad version even had a built-in cassette deck and keyboard.
What V wrote is the crux of the entire thing.
"the anonymity of the internet makes spreading toxicity all too easy without consequence."
Look at how people here hide behind, like and dislike buttons. The same on other platforms such as Youtube. Until these things are removed, the sites/platforms in question will always harbour...

PC Gamer said it was devoid of life and quite dull. Another site said the combat was repetitive. One man's meat and all that.
Does anyone remember the Dark Sorcerer demo from E3 2014.

A new Killzone game on PS5 would murder COD as the better game. But the sales numbers might not match it unless it was on PS4 and PS5 with PSVR 2 support. It's certainly a system seller.
@SullysCigar (eww btw) Either I forgot about this game or it's a new one to me thanks. It almost looks like it was developed for Quest 2 initially? It's available now on Steam I can see. Not much fanfare surrounding it. Reminds me more of LONN than LOW-Fi.
This release will be most welcome on PSVR 2 with nothing else like it planned for this year or next.
I am lost, Atomic Heart is a spiritual successor to which game? And please don't say Bioshock (Infinite).
Can either the Xbox, PS5 do the Merengue or cha-cha? That is the important question.
Elite Dangerous/Horizons/Odyssey is pretty decent but much more sim-like.
Metal Gear Solid was not awash with the numerous gadgets the article alludes to, although who could forget the usefulness of chaff grenades! MGS also became classic with all those codec conversations, cutscenes and goofy Kojima moments like putting the gamepad on the floor and having Mantis move it with his l337 skillz. IIRC, Tenchu was much less about the sword based combat, and much more panther stealth with fun tools. It also offered open sandbox type maps which MGS games didn't reall...
Which makes it even harder to believe the 100 million development cost for Forspoken.
Paul, much like Guile has always had stupid looking hair from day one. This current hairstyle is no different.
I get the whole first person thing being more immersive (which I appreciate because of details). That makes a lot of sense. But it's also nice being able to see the character within the world. There is a mod to make it 3rd person but it's not as smooth as it would be if natively implemented. What is jarring is the fact you drive on MC/Cars in 3rd person and see the model in 3rd person during photo mode. Would have been great if they had a first/third person toggle. It's possible ...
