Yep, I agree with the donations business model but don't mind paying a single payment if required, depending on the mod. I see people charging for outfits in some games (Resident Evil remakes). In the past people would have offered these for free. Each to their own I guess. Also things like Patreon, Itch etc has made it much easier for modders/developers to cash-gate their wares compared to in the past.

PSVR 2 only allows this at 1080p which can't really compare to a 4K display but is still pretty decent depending on how far away you usually game from your display. SONY needs to allow a higher resolution in this mode.

Seems like not much interest from PS5 owners here much like on PC, yet this kind of social/gaming app can be pretty cool for meetups and general goofing around. I heard VR CHAT are also planning a PSVR 2 version, so perhaps that is just going to be the main game people flock to if and when it gets approved by SONY because it's the most well known. I am going to assume the AI art generation might not be a feature on PSVR due to reasons.
In open world games like CP 2077 and GTA I don't actually mind real world billboard ads, in fact I have used a Blade Runner ads mod for CP 2077 and it just fits. For me on billboards it's not intrusive. A bit different to what's happened here though I understand that.

It just felt like pandering to the "women are just as badass/tough/strong as men" crowd, yet the two games are full of that already without the need for female lead characters to look like steroid taking lunatics.

Prepare for the long wait then. They have this thing where during any sale the base game lowers to the price it should be at now considering the game's around 3 years old now. Then they boost the price back up after the sale. They have been doing this tactic for quite some time. I assume the same will happen with this edition too. It seems they never go below a certain price. Like ever!
Problem with wider FOV is you need more screen real-estate to be rendered making for more GPU power requirments. I assume the way the headsets are designed have this in mind aside from as you say Pimax. Having tried Pimax 8K the canted displays cause eye strain issues for some people. So there are trade-offs with these things.

I really hope they satirically make the game as offensive as possible to as many as possible. R* seem to get a free pass and I think in this day and age, any news about the game, good or bad is good for the game. Let the Christians/religious fanatics march onto R*'s offices for mass protesting.
@riseNShine, not long after this article was published, LukeRoss got hit with a cease and desist from Take2 over his R* games mods. Yeh sure, "everyone wins where's the problem?" Some people and the law doesn't always agree with others making bank from IP's they don't own even if all they are doing is modding. Might have been a different outcome if he wasn't charging people.
