I stopped on skyrim for a whole after hearing how fucked it is, but I recently started again figuring I won't play it for the huge amount of hours needed for it to glitch anyway
I agree that uncharted 3 was amazing, but it didn't blow me away like uncharted 2 did. I think that was inevitable though given how revolutionary uncharted 2 was. It redefined how stories were told in games, gave players the best ever technical achievement on a console and has influenced a pack of games since. Uncharted 3 improves on uncharted 2 in many ways, but it's not that same leap ahead of the pack that 2 was.
PSP is a great device and I had a lot of fun with mine, but Vita makes it redundant.
I preorded a Wifi Vita with a 16gb memory card and Uncharted, also pre-ordered Unit 13. Bring it on!
I had Medieval back when it released, and was totally obsessed. I've been a Total war fan since the first Shogun arrived in 2000 when I was like 12 or 13.
I had them all up until Medieval II, then I turned to PS3 and console gaming and hadn't looked back until Shogun 2. I bought it because I'm a total Samurai history geek- which I was inspired to be by the first Shogun game. Who says games dont educate our kids!
Pending the reviews this will become a definite import for me, as its banned here in Australia due to our coddling nanny-state.
Killzone was full of bugs and was a deeply flawed game.
Killzone 2 marked the series true brilliance. Killzone 3 was well... good but did away with too many of the small things that made KZ2's multiplayer great.
Most phone games are glorified flash games and the ones that aren't play with an annoying touchscreen... yuck
One thing that I think will make this game suck more than its predecessors...
It's linear. Hitman was all about replayability and playing the some mission a tonne of times, experimenting with what goes wrong, and what went right before pulling off the perfect hit.
This game seems like it will funnel you down easy street with the only decision to be made is either shoot or sneak.
RAGE sucked graphically in my opinion. If you stood still long enough for the textures to load around you things looked good, but in motion the game was a mess of unloaded texture mud. I couldn't play it for more than a few hours before I got sick of the game looking like it was on PS2 because the textures loaded so slowly.
Might not be reaching the lofty predicitions some expected, but half a million in 20 days from a single territory seems pretty solid.
Awesome game. I feel kinda ashamed I had to play it on an iMac (although with a decent graphics card and 12gb of RAM it runs everything on high ultra smoothly), but this one game is making me seriously think of getting back into PC gaming.
I wonder if they'll fix the bugs?
I'm amazed PS2 is still selling in such healthy numbers.
Personally I'm hanging out for Rockstar open world game. I'd like to see what they can do with a powerhouse handheld.
This article nails it. While an impressive list of launch titles, there's really nothing to set the Japanese market alight there- Japan is RPG obsessed, and if you look back to the huge PSP moving titles, they were all JRPG ones.
On the other hand there's a list of launch titles bound to impress European, Australian and American gamers, particularly Uncharted.
Vita is far from doomed. It's the PS3 doomsday cult all over again, where they said it ...
You inspired me to get back into this game. I got it ages ago, with a bunch of other games and started it but never got around to finishing it. It's suh fun though, makes me yearn to go back to Japan!
I gotta say I hardly play this one and I was obsessed with MW2. I just don't like the maps.
