I agree with your sentiments on the maps. They're isn't a 'front' because your always being shot from the side or behind. It seems to favour camping.

I've noticed it in PS3, some textures don't load completely or do very slowly but it's rare. I first noticed on a Justicicar who's tunic loaded really slow over a conversation. Then I realised it was happening on weapons, coins, faces, rocks etc. It's ubiquitous enough to notice but not game breaking. I'd like to see a fix.
I'm having some frame rate hitches similar to those on Blops but not as bad. Still, it doesn't run smooth like MW2 does.
There's some major lag/frame rate issues with this game during heavy action in multiplayer. It happened in Blops too, but not MW2. Why can't they make these games work anymore?

Great read. The last point is most compelling, where he noted there should not be a disconnect between games journalists and their audiences. Often I disagree with reviews, and find myself heaping scorn on them for not identifying technical issues I see as so apparent, or glossing over major concerns I have with a particular title. But mostly they end up reflecting how I feel about a game. At the end of the day they're there to inform our decisions but not make then for us.

The more money they make the more they'll make good games. Win win I say.
I think they've done a great job on both PC and console. I'm loving this game on PS3, it's outstanding multiplayer. At the end of the day, whether development was lead on PC or console, the results speak for themselves.
I think DICE have done a great job with all the console Battlefield titles in making sure they equally push the hardware, and neither 360 nor PS3 gets left behind. EA have also been doing a solid job with games they publish as well, and console gam...
