If any sort of deal was cut, and Sony paid any money to have it exclusive, no doubt they'll get what they paid for that back. All these deals have a get out clause for the developer, but at the end of the day Rockstar/Take Two probably have more to gain from sales than they do with payments from Sony.
TBH i'd rather a web browser that wan't shyte on both PS3 and Vita.
yeah i start most games on hard but i think years of having me hand held this gen have come back to haunt me when playing a really hard game...
There's always games like Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo and the Uncharted games. They've all sold multiple millions and are PS3 exclusives. I think it has a more to do with inFamous being a new IP, and not getting as much of the marketing dollar as other franchises. inFamous 2 was barely advertised at all.
I'm really enjoying it, but there are a few issues. It can to 'jerky' and clunky at times, especially without aim assist.
I went in too brave I think setting it on hard with all assists off, and I'm getting my ass kicked.
Overall though it's a great game.
From last I heard, inFamous 2 didn't do well sales wise? This is a complete shame because I personally think it's one of the best PS3 games out.
Kinda reminds me of Resistance, where the best game in the series (Resistance 3) sold really poorly. Hope this doesn't happen to inFamous.
I agree. It takes away the sense of 'ownership' you have over games. I love having a game library to show off.
I really loved these games on PS2. Authentic Samurai experiences are few and far between on Playstation. I loved Kengo: Master of Bushido too. That was so cool.
The playstation browser sucks, even on Vita. They should just get Google chrome on there and be done with it.
Not gonna happen. MGS is too big in Japan, a territory dominated by PS3 when it comes to HD consoles. Kojima won't abandon his biggest audience by going exclusive on a console that's dead in Japan. One lesson you learn quickly in the gaming business is don't abandon your fanbase, or you'll end up with a dud.
While MGS4 stands as one of my all time favourites, I'd rather see a completely new Metal Gear title built ground up for the Vita- perhaps a remake of the NES/SNES games where you play as Solid Snake against Big Boss in Zanzibar land. Now that would r.o.c.k.
love BF3 on PS3 well deserved
I think once the game releases start rolling in for the Vita you'll get more use from it. I bought one at launch and still use it all the time, mostly to play FIFA.
There just haven't been any releases since the launch library, so if you've finished your launch games there just aren't many to turn to at the moment. But there are a lot coming now.
boo yeah can't wait to pwn me some handheld noobs
I've already got a PSP copy so I'm not too fussed. I wish we had the passport program here.
I bought a wifi model at launch and haven't looked back. I play it daily (mostly FIFA) but can't wait for more games. Gravity Rush, Mortal Kombat (even though I'll have to import it cos it's banned in Australia) and the MGS HD collection are at the top of my list.
Wooo GTAIV is awesome. Just got the episodes cheap on PSN. Can't wait for GTAV!
Heck yeah! Though disappointed it doesn't have Peace Walker. I'll have to play it on my PSP...
It doesn't have to be whimsical to be art (though Metal Gear Solid 4 is in there, awesome choice). But I'd include GTAIV and Red Dead: Redemption. The believable worlds created in those games really are art. Rockstar are masters of the sandbox world.
Smartphones will have quadruple this RAM in a year or so
