I wonder if these same problems are hurting Australia's GAME operations. They still have Mass Effect 3 advertised for sale on the website. I buy quite a bit off GAME online- most of my PS3 games and I got my Vita and games from GAME too.

Itd be great if the Vita experience more closely matched its PS3 counterpart. I'm hanging out for a true online FPS on Vita, I think that'll be a real breakthrough for handheld gaming.
I get your point and agree to some extent. But the PS3 hack is not widespread and accessible enough for it to flourish like it did on PS3. For example, I know 15, maybe 20 friends who own a PS3 and not one of them has hacked it- because one of the the reasons I'm sure is they don't know how (although even if you could not everyone would).
But on the PSP I know like 4-5 people who own one, and 3 of them for sure have hacked it.
I like most of the maps, op metro included, except for that one where the americans start on the carrier and all the action is in the docks. Its such an unbalanced map and I've never played a game where the russians didn't win.
It's a matter of time until Vita gets hacked and Sony know it. You can't beat the hackers. The shame of it all is that if piracy affects the Vita, we won't get good games.
I think that a major reason we have such good software on the PS3 is that it hasn't been successfully exploited yet in a way that allows piracy to flourish on the system. Hopefully the Vita holds up the same way.
Well what this gen did that the previous gen arguably didn't (until late in the piece, and not very well) was online support. It used to be that to play a multiplayer game, you had to be a PC gamer. PS3 and 360 changed all that, where there are now massive online communities, and the biggest selling games are mutliplayer ones. Online connectivity was a huge leap forward. I just don't know- because I haven't seen it yet- what the huge leap forward will be for the next gen?

Aside from a graphical/technical upgrade and maybe integrated motion control support, I wonder what else this next gen will do that is so much better?
Ill just keep ps3. I never had the desire to go back and play ps2 games

iOS devices have changed gaming, thats for sure, but they haven't bettered their rivals. the hardcore will stay with the joypad.
