This is potentially one of the few games (currently) i would buy a PS3 to play it on. However, it better be good and it must have really good online with at least eight player,preferably sixteen player races. Interesting read with some valid points, but also some errors.In particular, i like how he managed to put a positive spin on the core system.Saying core system will sell more units,because of cheaper price than Wii.Yep, thats possible, but what he doesn't say is the lack of hdd as standard will condemn us 360 owners to long loading times and stuttering 'on the fly'loading for the life of the console,probably. Bottom line, core system good for sales bad for gamers!
Doesn't matter which version the screen shots are from.My guess is, there will be no noticeable difference. Get the game and ignore the minutiae!

This is a cracking game that has bags of gameplay, with or without the glitches. And THWIP, i do appreciate that this an early 360 game and therefore there where problems, regardless of the reasons.
Being a big wipeout fan i was kinda looking forard to this, but then i read there's only four racers on the tracks at once.Now, it appears the speed isn't up to much.I can't imagine 360 version will be any better since it was designed for PS3.Shame, but i guess i'll have to wait for Wipeout proper.By then the PS£ should be a reasonable price as well.
I'm glad to see this on the PS3,its a great game. I'm still playing it after 150hrs and there's plenty to do. The only drawback on 360 was the slightly off putting loading times and stuttering.Hopefully if they use PS3 hdd these minor irritations can be largely avoided.If you like this kinda game, then in my opinion, its a must have.

This is the much edited version,because i am very biased towards assembler and would have bored the pants off you!Anyway,D.J i can't imagine anyone trying to develop in assembler these days,the cost of development would be astronomical.Plus, the real advantage of machine code was speed and control, that really isn't an issue for modern consoles.The only guy i can think of that would even attempt such a crazy thing is the camel man, Jeff Minter, but he's a one off looney genius:)

I completely agree with the sentiments already expressed regarding annoying twelve year olds on live.What gets me, is what kind of parenting are these kids getting? Their parents don't intervene to stop them playing 'M' rated games and who's actually buying the games for them? However the main problem i have with these kids, is they are quite often too f***ing good at the games and i can't take the shame of being hammered by some snotty little kid on the verge of puberty
