I don't suppose there will be many people on this forum that remember the following EIGHT bit games that superceded all your new fangled consoles. I would really enjoy a remake of;
1) M.U.L.E (Atari 800) Online play with more races, more events better A.I etc etc. I still this play this game today, twenty something years after it was released.(To anyone that understands or cares, my record on this is over 127,000 colony score on tournament level playing as Humanoid :)

I don't think it can be argued that Motorstorm isn't a class act.Considering the game type is a relative niche market,the marks are outstanding.This split screen thing isn't practical, you would inevitably loose graphics quality on a game this demanding. Now, give me a next gen Wipeout and i might even buy a PS3

i think they are saying the type of branching that is used for A.I seems to work better on the spu than the ppu. I don't think they said, it makes the PS3 better at A.I in general than say, the 360.However, its possible it will turn out to be that way, who knows.
Or could it be that they didn't invest in a top spec hardware firewall?
This is bullshit, i remember the days when Id sold their s/w at reasonable prices and people would BUY it. Try to rip the punter and he'll rip you back. Don't blame the crackers for the high price of s/w. Its GREED thats responsible.
I think its too early to judge this now,lets wait until there are more games with great online playability and new additions to the service. Its possible things will change dramatically over the course of this year.Will it rival XBL? Who knows.

The reasons givens for no online play remain correct.The VF series was NOT written with online play in mind, therefore it would be detrimental to gameplay to make the adjustments. If a game has ads that doesn't interfere with the gameplay,then i buy the game, but purposely DO NOT buy the products advertised therein. If the game has annoying ads, then i don't buy the game,simple.However, i fear i'm in the minority here,so i can see advertising becoming more obtrusive.
You may be under the impression that your internet speed is fast, but in computing terms its a snails pace.For a game a precise and fast as VF5,it would be seriously detrimental to the gameplay if on-line was included. They could do it ,but then all you guys would be shouting how unresponsive on line play was.I'm sure next time they will develop with online in mind. Give'em a break.

Consumers are paying for a Blue ray drive that was expensive to include, Sony wanted to drive the format so chose to include it,i think this is a generally accepted scenerio.
