Is a backbone worth double the money, if it had an 8" screen + all the comfort and functionality of a dual sense + no need to pair anything + not having use of your phone while you play and having your game constantly interrupted with notifications etc? I would argue yes. It would be worth double the money
The thing that stops GT7 being considered an outright SIM, isn't the realism of the driving, it's the additional stuff surrounding the race itself. The options and interoperability with peripherals and all the other things that go along with it. It's easy to sneer at it because it's a console game, but the driving experience itself can be very realistic with all the assists turned off.
I watched a very detailed analysis of the driving by a real life GT3 driv...
They have a lossless, low latency dongle for the PS5. And you can use them with your phone etc. So I imagine theyre for someone who wants earbuds but also the best performance when they use them on their PS5. Its also a potentil 'nice to have' when using PSVR2, as you have less stuff hanging off your head interfering with the band on the headset. So basically, theyre for me
PlayStation doesn't put it's games on PS+ day one, so PS players typically buy more games. But also I believe that Xbox players are more and more finding that the games they actually want to buy arent on Gamepass. So you have to ask yourself, do I opt to sign up, when all the new games I want aren't on it
4 new AAA per year
Has it been ruled out that it may be able to bypass the router and connect directly to the PS5? Because as far as I'm concerned we do t know what kind of special features thing this has. Can it function as a dual sense with the screen giving you additional functionality, such as HUD and map displays etc, like the Wii U? There's no need to pair anything, no remote play kind of friction such as launching an app etc. We do t know any of this stuff, but it could end up being a great littl...
I think FIFA alone makes over $1bn a year from mtx
Couldn't agree more. With a full rig, it's astonishing. If there was never another PSVR2 game released I wouldn't care, because I play GT7 everyday and couldn't play it any other way now
Im playing GT7 on an aluminium rig with a GTDD Pro and it's perhaps the high point of my gaming life. I'm 42 and I've been gaming since I was 5. As an experience it's just sensational
Not only that, but it's comfortably the best bang for your buck by a long long way. We're not just talking one or two hundred dollars
Worth every penny!
That's a damn fine selection.I've gone for the Horizon bundle. I already have GT7 and a full rig. Then I've picked up RE Village, No Man's Sky (again), and Kayak. Can't wait. I think we're in for a treat!
My kids and every kid in our family and extended family absolutely loved Knack. Even now, my step sisters boy who is 6 years old, is obsessed with it. It's easy to mock, but for its target audience Cerny definitely knew what he was doing. Not every game has to be aimed at me to be good. And short as it was, I really enjoyed The Order
It's easy to announce some games with familiar names and a pre rendered trailer. Quality of said titles is very very far from assured.
How can it still surpass every expectation? You've heard it all 1000 times. You literally know exactly what to expect
It's a lot of money, but I honestly don't think it's overpriced for what it is. It's right at the top end specs wise. I loved PSVR1, so I've got my pre order in. Personally I can't wait
Yes
You sacrifice urgency and focus but gain size, scope, ambition, depth and much more besides. It can't achieve both things at the same time. But like you, it was a 10/10 for me. Loved every second of it.
Vision GT cars are all developed to be possible to build if money was no object. They're fantasy cars, but based on reality. It's not just a case of, make fast, big wheels
I thought it was all style, no substance. The world felt dead beyond Hogwarts and Hogsmeade and the whole thing quickly became a chore. Doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a GOTY list
