It was amazing. Best downloadable game I have played hands down. Even better than a lot of full releases.
I thought the article was going to tie "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons", an upcoming Downloadable game by Starbreeze studios. Lime Journey, it has an amazing art style and looks promising.

The UE4 pic is real time. That pic of the Cryengine was a bullshot from like 2008 or 2009.
I don't know what will be more powerful engine, but a lot of PC gamers agree that in terms of textures, UE3 is better than Cryengine. Cryengine is better at a range of things though, lighting, shadows physics etc.
That video, is there any proof that it isn't pre-rendered CGI?
As far as the UE4 tech demo was, it was in real time. I think UE4 is more impressive than most engines, it's just that the art direction in the demo was so generic. It was what was going on behind the scenes that made it special. The lighting, physics, 1 million particle effects at 1 given time etc.
I just hope that we get to see an UE4 game soon so we can stop speculating. And for gods sa...
Agreed. I don't really trust reviewers, as half of them HAVE TO give good reviews or they lose their job/money/advertising.
A lot of the games I have bought are from word of mouth. Alan Wake, Borderlands, Demon Souls etc. It's good to see that implemented (Wiiverse)
I think this review is copy pasted from the other versions. I think that is pathetic. Can't they review the Wii U version? Maybe it has less bugs etc.

A 10/10 Sports games isn't automatically better than a 9/10 RPG etc.
I loved Halo 4, one of the best games I have played this gen. PSASBR I have yet to pick up, but I am putting it ahead of many of the games in my library.

I thought that the 360 version was the 'complete' version. It came with extra classes that weren't on the PS2.

It's funny when fanboys act like the developers are either fanboys themselves, or just being lazy. Especially considering they released one of the best looking games on PC, and are known to be heavily relient on the CPU.
Play Metro, then make a judgement. Until then, I'll take the word of a respected developer over some internet kid.

4A games ARE making Last Light for the PS3, which is going to be great. They were talking about the PS3's cell around the release of Metro 2033, and what they could do with it. I hope they develop the 360 and PS3 games separately, to play to each consoles advantages.

Why would 4A Games be lying? You are the one missing out! Metro is heavy on post processing effects-the lighting and fog plays a big part. It's understandable why he would be frustrated. Unlike internet kids, developers aint fanboys.

Yes, that is the only deal I am aware of, so it is nothing special, considering it is just 1 game, and to boot isn't even half price. Sigh...
CoD isn't the only game. I haven't played CoD online since MW1 or MW2, and it was Okay, which is to say you get lag some games, and good connection others (albeit, more lag then not).
Halo 4 suffers from major lag issues as well. I'm glad to say it isn't just me this time. Even in game chat I hear more and more people complaining about lag.

In all honesty, the first thing you'd do if you were buying a new NINTENDO console would be to buy a Nintendo game. If they wanted to play CoD, then they would already have a PC/360/PS3 to play it on.

What you were thinknig of is 'UnKarted'.
In other words, they max out the consoles power witht what they have to work with (their engine etc).
Of course the title isn't trying to say that they won't improve the efficiency in which they work with the available power of the console, just that when ever a developer releases a game, that is generally them maxing it out.
