Crysis 2 story put me to sleep. Killzones isn't the best, but number 2 was fairly decent. PLus, it has huuuuuge potential.
Hopefully the crysis 2 guy left them because he was ashamed of the story, so he joined a franchise with much more potential. Crysis 1 was good, number 2 is number 2, if you get my meaning....
No F2P game can compare in quality with the best of this gens games. They are more Multiplayer focused, to attract large audiences.
WE will always need single player games. The core is here to stay, casuals can lick the residue between my butt cheeks! (Figure of speech........seriously, I'm not lying)
Im pretty sure Super Metroid is the most revered one in the series, where as Fusion was universally accepted as terrible (except for this guy).
Can't wait to see HD metroid on Wii U. Although I'm not too excited for the Wii U, as soon as I see a Metroid in HD, I'm going to have a fit and go buy one.
Killzone 2 was amazing. Cant say much for World at War though, probably the worst game I have played in the shooter genre. Just felt like I was killing japanese people running out of a bush half the game.
It looked terribly grainy for its time, and hasn't aged well at all.
Timesplitters was awesome as well. Glad you mentioned it.

I understand your opinion, but to say bioshock isn't as good as episode 1 or 2, or left 4 dead is beyond me. I'd say Bioshock is better than most of what valve has brought out. Half Life 2 is probably stil better though IMO.

lol. The last one a played was years ago on the ps2 (probably like 7 years ago). I had a lot of fun.
But I know there arew plenty of others, and the graphics are really dated, like they don't even try.
It wuld be sooo easy if they put the money from al the games they made into one awesome one, and sell much more.
I'm not really excited at all TBH. With the PS3, blu-ray was included (thus upping the price), but it was worth it. Kinect 2 will just up the price, unless they sell it as a standalone.
I don't have a Kinect, but I'll probably buy one this Christmas when they are super cheap, just to see what all the fuss is about, maybe involve some of the kiddies around the house for a fun time.

Havn't played Crysis 1, but Crysis 2 was terrible IMO. The gameplay was worse than Halo 1 (I recently played anniversary).
The ONLY reason Crysis was ever famous was becuase of its graphics, and Crysis 2 had bad gameplay and Story, could barely get through it. Graphics is the only thing appealing, unless they improve the shooting mechanics and story.
Still amazed they havn't fixed it yet. I know it is one of the best games ever made, but until they fix it, I'm just going to wait for the GOTY edition.
They should compensate PS3 users with free horse armour at least lol. Maybe we should get a vote on what they give us? That would be sweet.

Too put it into perspective, I love all Halo games. but they havn't made one better than Halo 1 IMO.

I rememebr them hyping up the biggest event in the galaxy, which turned out to be the south park RPG lol (which I will be getting day 1, I love south park).
It will probably only apply to a very minute minority, like a sequel to vampire rain lol.

Although I didn't like Rage (I had the ps3 version), it is still one of the best graphics games on console.......when the textures load.
The game probably would have been the best looking game hands down if they chose 30FPS, and smaller environments, but at least they tried to do something (which was, well impossible on consoles).
It also had HD resolution, which a lot of games don't have, Like COD, Halo, Resistance, Alan wak...

Lol, your name might suggest you know something about games. If you did, you'd know that the game "Prey" had the portal based puzzles, before Portal did. So, either way, someone copied someone who copied someone.
TBH, as much as a fantasise as playing as the helghast, I think it would ruin the mystery behind them (at least for me). They are so scary, and the top of the line AI makes them even more so.
It's like telling a kid that the boogey man is only doing the things he does to feed his wife and starving kids and pay off his mortgage.
