I also find it funny that they single out males. As a male, am I allowed to scream "sexist"?
I think society has already answered that; NO!!
I think if you want to be serious about it, it's quite easy to figure out. Gaming isn't as social as playing a sport (gamers can also play sport, but you get the point).
Also, a lot of asocial/antisocial people are attracted to gaming, as it gives you a fun time without the anxiety of m...

How could a girl resist?........
Yes but once they brought out new games they milked them. Think Rianbow six, Ghost Recon, Pop, Assassin's Creed etc.
I love Assassin's Creed, but I'm worried they are milking it into the ground. They want to stick to their yearly release cycle, which if they didn't they could have fixed a lot of the bugs in AC3.
They said "why not" when asked if they were going to bring out yearly AC releases. It really worries me, as a fan.
Yes but in the context in which they said it, it does.
Technically they could, just means how much weaker they will have to make it, how many corners have to be cut etc.
It is explained well in the article, if anyone actually takes the time to read. Granted they actually have some form of reading/comprehension.
@Fez
But your missing the point. This came AFTER the review on the website, and if they took down the one on the website, it would look even more fishy.
Bottom line is, the first guy who reviewed must not have reviewed it high enough. As why did his review not get into the magazine, but instead they opt to put a higher scored review in there by a different reviewer. Just saying, in my world at least, it seems strange.
In saying that, hardly any games deserve a perfect score. It is Waaaaayyy overused today.
Did anyone notice GameInformers review? They gave it an 8.5, which is what counts on metacritic, but in the actual magazine I got this month, it recieved a 9.25, reviewed by none other than the Editor himself (not the original reviewer.
I find that very fishy. Almost like Activision made them print a better review or something. Or maybe as they are owned by Gamestop, the...
I always wanted an open world, third person Pokemon RPG sort of like a fallout or something.
Imagine walking up to Pokemon in the wild and trying to catch them? It is like everybody's childhood dream come true. I myself would love for it to stick to the Kanto storyline with ASH, before they 'lamed' it up.
Or, they could go the easy route (Which I hope they don't), and copy/paste the DS formula.
Really? Explain.
I have heard nothing but super positive comments on it by my friends. I'm probably going to pick one up around Christmas. The CPU WILL NOT stop me from enjoying the games it has on offer. Disappointing it may be (CPU), but at the end of the day, a good game isn't judged by its use of a CPU.
4A games said the CPU sucked. A spokesperson for THQ is obviously going to defend it, which is dumb.
Although, I would agree with 4A games on the basis that they are experienced developers, and that they aren't the only ones saying that the CPU is weak. The Wii U itself is a good console, but I think it is now confirmed that the CPU at least sucks (compared to the GPU and RAM).
While it is disappointing to hear, it won't stop people from enjoying Mari...
I was thinking the same thing, until I read that only 195 were being made.
I can't afford one, but I wonder if the price will increase as time goes on, or if they will be forgotten about/forged in China.
@ALLWRONG
"Like I said "your connection""
Obviously that was directed at SITH, but I still can't see why you would be opposed to dedicated servers? It doesn't matter how good your internet is if someone with dial up gets host for example.
We shouldn't have to ask for dedicated servers, they should be expected, especially for a series that prides itself on Multiplayer and a series that makes a ton of money.
@SITH
Yeah my friend said he watched an interview with one of the people who made Halo 4 (Maybe Josh Holmes), and they asked if Halo 4 would have dedicated servers. Apparently he dodged the question.
I think Halo has always had a weird p2p system. In a lot of games, there isa one host, who's upload determines the latency. I'm pretty sure Halo's (at least in Halo 3) picks 1 person to be the host, yet they are also drawing from the servers somewhat....
Why are these articles up when true Halo fans are all saying it is the best since CE?
It's funny how whenever an FPS comes out (other than CoD and Halo), every comment is praising it as the best thing since sliced bread, but when there is a Halo or CoD article (coming from someone who doesn't even play CoD), comments are all "yeh it alright" or "meh it's crap".
I just find it funny that a lot of the comments for Halo are never ...
@ALLWRONG
Well, just me and a lot of people I know are complaining. More so than Reach, that's for sure. Also, in game chat I am always hearing people bitch about lag, more than usual.
I think the lack of a beta test hurt them, as there are still reports of server issues. Sometimes it says servers are down, cannot view service record etc.
Also, daily/weekly challenges not counting toward the 25 challenges achievement. Some people are over...
Sadly, I think that will be the case. Nintendo really had a chance to make something here, but I feel that it isn't going to last long.
However, even if the 3rd party devs avoid them, there is always JRPG's, Zelda, Metroid etc so Nintendo fans should still be satisfied.
Although, I have to admit I'm disappointed. I was hoping for something AT LEAST half a gen in front of 360/PS3, so it at least help up alright. This is just pure catch up.
@Dovahkiin
I really hope so. The amount of trashy south park games I have played is depressing. Sadly, the tower defence one has been the best, and even then it was average.
The Tenorman's revenge on XBLA was pathetic. Absolutely boring and lazy development. Fingers crossed stick of truth is good. Though my hopes are about as low as they can get.
I still think it's funny that he uses "lazy". I thought that the putting the joke in there is more of a trouble than not having it in there, so it definitely isn't lazy. Unless they accidentally left it in there, which I highly doubt.
So many things in the world, and you gotta bitch about this? Man this guys life must be easy.
@iamsuperman
"This is something you would include if your 10."
So is the "I'm more mature than the rest of you" card. Point is, people never have a problem with blowing peoples heads up and other super violent things in games, and the author is bitching about a joke that you can otherwise ignore?
I think "brain up" would be more suitable but whatever......
Agreed. You are allowed to brutally murder people, but tell a joke and "oh no, the skies are raining down fire!".
Seriously. It's not even a joke that makes you listen to it. If you notice it again and again, why not just ignore it? God, I hate how people bitch and moan about the slightest things. You may not think it, but that is what leads to censorship, and people get offended etc.
In the words of HebrewHammer: Man Up!
Hold on, I wan...
Agreed. Even if it could, imagine how weak the game would be?
4K resolution won't be standard for another 10 years (maybe less, but they are soooo expensive).
Remember, Plasma TV's were like 20k over here when they first came out, so I expect a 4k resolution screen wont be cheap.
