Your commment would have a lot more credibility if your picture wasn't of Super Mario Bros 3 (an excellent game BTW).
I didn't disagree with your comment, as it is your opinion. I myself love it. For me, growing up with the PS1 and PS2, it brings back lots of memories and childhood fantasies (mostly unsexual....... :)
Agreed. It is confusing though, as developers said that the long console life was good, as there is a larger install base, and they know how the hardware works. Now Ubisoft are saying different?
If they really needed a Next-gen, why are they making yearly release games? They probably plan on cross-releasing their games (ie. Ps3,PS4,360,720 etc.), so this is all a fraud so that they can make more money.
Besides, developers have pulled every dirty trick on us t...
Lol by the looks of it those cheap 30 cent cones from McDonalds haha. (they are good though :(.........)
Hahaha coming from MR 117 himself! I'd also love to see it. I hope the games they make are awesome, and Activision lets them make them good. I know the contract is a bit dirty, but Bungie have proven they know how to make a good game.
Well, in a more civil world, this would be possible.
Too bad the internet is full of fanboys who will defend their version to the death, without ever playing the other.
Randy has always been hilarious, his humour really shows in Borderlands.
I still deciding what console to get Colonial Marines on. Might get it on the Wii U if the motion tracker/game-pad thing works out.
Wii U gamers should be able to enjoy Borderlands 2 as well.
Very possible, considering they said after Rage that team would join the Doom 4 team. Coupled with the fact they recently released the Doom 3 BFG edition, I'd say it's pretty much going to be it.
If not, the I'd love Legacy Of Kain reboot, if that is considered 'old school'.
True. Even in the first level, the Chief asks Cortana how long he was out, and she says like "4 years, 7 months and 10 days".
How you could miss that is unbelievable. Some people just shouldn't review games at all. Try harder.
@WiiUalpha
Yes, when consoles first come out, they are more expensive in Aus. Consoles were actually cheaper here (at least the PS3) for most of last year.
It seems we get more of the price cuts, and earlier than the U.S.
So pretty much anyone who disagreed with me thinks that this was possible on the Wii? So you guys are saying they purposely didn't make the Wii version HD?
Gotta love the internet.
Actaully, consoles over here in Aus are cheaper than the U.S. They get us with the games though :(
I thought it was funny how in the U.S, they were complaining about the $600 price tag on the PS3. Both the 360 and PS3 were $1000 over here.
Interesting to see what the next Xbox/PS will be over here compared to the U.S, given we are now at parity.
Lol that's the same thing people say about CoD. I'll believe it when I see it. (FYI, not a CoD OR Apple fanboy).
@AusRogo
Thinking the same thing brother. Sydney gets most of the gaming gigs eh?
EB Expo in Queensland, then Sydney, and Melbourne gets no love? Well at least we have PAX next year :)
Good to see. Love it when games do cool stuff.
Well, it is only possible because of new hardware. It is in HD, something the Wii couldn't do.
If you contribute to articles in a positive way, you might find that you can either keep the amount of bubbles you have, or gain some.
Just remember, people were saying the same BS about the PS3 when it first came out. Give it time. It might not be a generational leap, but it is better than a lot of uneducated brats think it is.
Why is this not illegal? When are games going to be treated seriously by the law? If this happened with anything else, people would be up in arms wanting blood.
I think the only fair thing to do is that when people buy these games, included in the sticker price is a bond. After the servers shut down, 2K (in this case) have to pay them the bond back, whether it be bank deposit or game credits.
I think next-gen developers are going to be doing this to many more...
Why the funk do little kids want an iPad do you ask?
Like most Apple products, they are trendy and most people who own them only have them so they can show other people their "apple badge".
The world is full of loons. If one of my kids asked for an iPad I'd put the (metaphorical) smack-down on them.
Hand your kid a freakin' Hannah Montana CD or whatever. Why must they own all of these expensive gadgets? When I was growing up...
I know right? Have you ever rested your head against a train window? I remember doing that as a kid, and by the end of the trip I'd have a bruise lol.
Are the disks protected like the Blu-ray ones though?
I find it funny these days how they have to mention something is free, when it damn well should be as you said.
I don't mind paying for extra content, like an expansion or something, but for a hard mode and time attack mode? Hell no.
What is gaming coming to when we have to thank people for giving away 'free' DLC when it should be. If only we could still unlock clothing for characters in fighting games, instead of being told to buy them separately...
Yay lets celebrate! Down with free to play. I love sending money /s
In all seriousness though, maybe it's because EA aren't trying hard enough.
Games like League of Legends have so much replay value. The amount of unlocks and customisations is amazing.
People will always spend money on a good game than play a crappy game that is free. They just have to find the right balance.
Lol I can only imagine what you meant by "slougter".
F***ing (non-existent) word of the day.
