@badz149
Its really a glass cannon, its exciting cause because seeing new games is always fun, but then you realize that most of those could also be played on PS4. None the less, its exciting to watch, just the substance isn't all that relevant to the success of the One
The entire Destiny franchise is designed to have a pay structure similar to an MMO, they just do it via annual passes and smaller DLC content. But really if you break down the entirety of what you pay, you are paying monthly to keep your Destiny gaming experience alive
Women fought in WW2, thats a historical fact and why does it offend you that a woman in on the cover? Who gives a rat's ass? lol Not to mention which BF game has been 100% historically accurate? Not a single one, each game has been about capturing a realistic setting and atmosphere and injecting over the top grand warfare styled gameplay.
@Rachel
As a woman you shouldn't be so ignorant, women fought in WW2 its a historical FACT and since when has BF been 100% historically accurate? Like in which game? lol its always been about over the top gameplay with realistic settings as in the environments, who the characters are
Oh no women in video games, someone burn the game to the ground
First and foremost, adapt a Gamers Club style program. Power Up Rewards Elite should absolutely do the 20% off for physical new titles. Next is price match, these are two basic components everyone uses. I get Gamestop is much smaller, but down sizing their inventory to keep their financials in tack and to lose potential customers is not a sound business plan for the future
@SenorFart
Both you and Tyler need to go to school Pal.
Both Prey and Deus Ex are AAA titles as well, and content and cost to purchase the title doesn't differ between AAA and AA and Indie'. Its team size, budget and scale of proprietary software its using
@IamTyler
EPIC games is AAA, Fortnite is AAA title with a massive team working on it, just cause its F2P doesn't mean its not AAA lol
Which is what people wanted, the hardcore fans, desperately wanted a grind somewhere in the game. And they delivered on that front, which ironically is what they didn't have last expansion and it had more content lol. But people think that a grind automatically assures a game more reliability without understanding that it gives companies like Bungie more ways to gimp on content. This expansion is an absolute joke, most of the improvements come from QOL updates for the general game anyway....
Save them from what? The One is outpacing the 360 for lifetime sales and the Xbox division is garnering more revenue than ever before. They're not doing as well as the Playstation brand, but doesn't mean their failing lol
@dragonknight66
Wide linear is the actual term, semi open world would mean a game whose world is fully explorable from the get go but with corridors.
@corririos
Not how hardware works, you don't scale resolution potential based on just TFLOPs alone
They're reacting based on business, they realize a majority of their user base rarely support exclusives they launch. So why waste your money on a generation you lost? They're investing towards next-gen now and hoping that these investments can pay off for them next time around
Crackdown 3 isn't even First Party lol, neither is State of Decay 2, or Ori or Below. The ONLY first party games probably coming to Xbox One has been Sea of Thieves ( mediocre), another Halo game and another Forza loll
And people think the hate for their first party is due to pure fanboyism
Which proves what point exactly? Nothing on the hardware end, as, if Sony's first party had access to Xbox One X level hardware their games would shine even better than on the Pro. In the end regardless of first party talent, the One X will always supersede the PS4 Pro but quite a margin, thats just reality
Oh man Mayan would be great for future IPs that follow this route, the mythos in the culture is scary and beautiful
People at this point really don't understand that Microsoft gives NO SH*TS about this generation anymore? For this company the most important part is the bottom line and as they know they lost, for them its about trying to just earn some good user base love ( B.C, other software related features) and pushing into next gen
You won't see sh*t, if anything maybe for next-generation, but for Xbox, this cycle is done and they're only gonna try and wrap up their franchises for existing story lines and push for next-gen soon.
Waste of an article, most developers have not even heard a peep of a PS5, so even 2019 is out of the picture. At the earlier and again EARLIEST, you'll get a new PS in 2020
Very good point and I do think that investment is there, you just won't see it with this generation. Most likely the next, right now for MSFT is about laying the foundation to make these services be cemented properly with quality 3rd party support and launch support from their exclusive titles.
