Its not, the PS4 Pro Version has already been showing running at 1920 x 2160p while the Xbox One X version has been confirmed by a rep from Microsoft to be running at 3840 x 2160p. Thats a 50% difference in resolution and unfortunately no amount of friends is going to help offset that technical difference
It's also a smart business investment, buying 2nd party and 3rd party exclusives is like leasing a car, you own nothing and bottom line its a poor investment made in part to reaping benefits in the short run and not in the long. I'm glad Microsoft understands this now and has double downed on internal game studio development
Good for both parties, Obsidian has been in financial turmoil consistently and Microsoft has deep pockets and need more studios to bolster more content from First Party. Especially if Game Pass if their front running purchase model moving forward and X Cloud too
iD Tech isn't really designed for open world experiences. Its target is fully physically based rendering at 60 FPS, gonna be impossible for all consoles to pull that off
Long stopped with Amazon since Gamers Club was a thing from Best Buy. Most pre-orders get me 20% off and a 10 coupon for another order in the future. And since its expired now, Best Buy extended the membership to 2020 when the program ends. So until then not planning to buy any games on Amazon

Its really fun, gorgeous open world, so just great to explore, again similar to Origins, but the narrative being weak, killed my interest in wanting to play it all the time to small spurts
Got to play an early preview of the game through a friend. To me this game is trying WAY too hard to be The Witcher 3, its got a massive world and it does indeed have a TON of things to do. But this isn't even Assassins Creed anymore, the story-telling of 2 and even Unity fails here, cause theres almost no attention to developing the character. I don't need dialogue choices in my Assassins Creed game, I used to play them for the interesting story dynamics and characters, this game fee...
Why is this even called Assassins Creed? Ubisoft could have easily named this a new IP, as it contains almost nothing in similar to the original IP aside from story elements....

I LOVED playing Spiderman, its so fun and extremely well made. But GOW is just on another level, its level design, story, graphics, gameplay and writing are some of the best I've ever played in a video game
Changed from the launch Pro to the God of War edition, though the sound is much nicer on the ears, it still as loud as a 747 at take off
