Simple:
Game Pass is going through the same journey, Netflix went through. When it launched Netflix lost dollar after dollar, with one aim, to earn market share. Microsoft's goal is the exact same thing, right now their aim is to win market share ( game streaming/ subscription) in a space that's very linear. Eventually the aim is users like you who hop in for a month and hop out, eventually go, " you know what its a pretty damn good value and only $10 anyway, why not&qu...
Yes, you are a hardware genius, how did you know?
@Eonjay
I think I lost IQ points reading your BS bro lmao
SOMA is FANTASTIC!! Very gripping story, gorgeous environments. Great game PS Plus
AC Unity to this day, is still one of the best looking open world games of this generation. Its GI implementation was only matched by the likes of Red Dead. The newer AC games are now where close to the technical marvel that game was
Not really, Halo 5 is a great game, its just not on par with the GOTY level the former trilogy was capable of doing. They did just create an amazing new engine, so it remains to be seen what they can do.
FP16 is almost utterly useless in most modern game engines, its all marketing gimmick on AMD and Sonys side
I could only imagine, the Pro version looks like soup, guessing the OG Xbox one version looks like flash floods
Its not a good implementation of checkerboard rendering, at 1920x2160 it justs not gonna look sharp on a 4K screen
@DA
HDR ain't broken, that's just how realistic colors look haha
It's checkerboard 1920x2160p and its not quite a good implementation of it, especially the artifacts on screen
You know one of these days I think Rockstar is gonna mess up but nope, 97 on Metacritic, we once again have a game of the generation level product from them
The PS3 was the most revolutionary console of its time, Blu Ray, built in WiFi, bluetooth for its accessories, the Cell
It was a multi-media powerhouse
They won't improve shit, they'll optimize hit detection by making the TTK slightly faster so it seems like they've improved the performance, but they'll still keep us on their Goodwill servers for the lifecycle of the game
Got it from the Goodwill clearance with those 1990's tick rates
Live in California where i get taxed for even breathing and no tax for me on PSN or XBL
I have some friends who were stubborn and were like 500 GB is all you need and said I'll just beat a game and then delete it....now the group awaits for those who need to upgrade the drive and install the newer games lol
PSN also doing the get back $15 if you buy this this game and another promotion. Personally got Destiny 2 Forsaken and pre-ordered this, waiting to use the $15 off when the Black Friday promos drop on PSN
God damn, thought getting a 2 TB Hybrid would be overkill for my Pro, but glad I made the purchase, this game is going to be HUGE
@sampson
1. So never draw a comparison of the revolution the movie industry underwent vs what the game industry might experience. My comparison to Netflix is a draw at the history of growth of catalog based subscription services.
2. I just said they don’t make any money, there is no way they are cash flow positive on this for their internal studio games. They eventually plan to have 10s of millions of users paying for this, so say 20 million active paying members...
