It's pretty disgusting how many iterations SFIV has gone through already, this on top of the fact that Capcom will be further milking the franchise with SFxTekken next year. If Capcom would like to see how to properly release a game with a s*** ton of content right out of the box, they'd be wise to go and pick themselves up a copy of Mortal Kombat (2011). THAT is how you do right by your fan base.
In all honesty, if you really want to get some value for your old games which you never play anymore, sell them online via forums/auction sites/online ads. Rather than having to sell to Gamestop for $15 bucks only for them to turn around and sell whatever you gave them for $40 you can sell it to another gamer for $25-$30. You get a little extra cash back and the buyer saves some coin as well, all because you eliminated the rip off middleman in Gamestop.
You know, it's really annoying when websites put up s*** pieces like this just for hits. They even made sure to ask you to click the next button. Lame.
Could always be a flashback or (because the game takes place in the desert) a mirage/hallucination.
Game look awesome. Looks like they may have toned down the difficulty though. The folks playing were taking some hits that would have been insta-crashes in Pacific Rift. Hopefully they haven't simplified things too much. The first two games had a pretty brutal learning curve but it was one of the things that I really loved about the series as it forced you to learn the game if you truly wanted to be good at it rather than being accessible to every n00b who thinks that wall riding is a...
The Ace Combat games ever since AC3 (the JPN version anyway) have always been about a great story just as much as they've been about intense action. Shattered Skies, The Unsung War (my favorite) and The Belkan War all had pretty awesome narratives and the fictional world everything took place in had its own unique feel.
You can definitely tell that Namco/Project Aces knows that this games was going to be a huge departure from previous installments as they've made s...
Knowing Capcom, all three games will be on the disc but you'll need to pay extra for a pair of 5kb unlocks in order to access DMC2 and DMC3.
@RockmanII7
I dunno why you're getting butthurt. This game have been in development for quite some time and it's pretty inexcusable that features which are present in Capcom's most recent fighting title are mysteriously absent here. As far as there being no "Super", "HD" or "Remix", would you feel better if I said X-Men/Marvel vs. Street Fighter/Capcom: Fate of Two Worlds Clashing Between A Bunch Of New Age Super Heroes.
<...
LOL. You people act surprised. It is DLCapcom after all. They'll include it in Super Marvel vs. Capcom 3 HD Remix.
The motion control disaster that was "Lair" will pretty much prevent Sony from doing something as stupid as making motion controls mandatory. Right now it seems like the rear touch pad is a huge gimmick but I'm sure over time someone will find a way to put it to good use. There's absolutely nothing wrong with motion controls (even secondary motion controls such as the ones in the Sixaxis/DS3) so long as they don't interfere with the general gameplay. A perfect example...
My God some of you people need to just STFU with the crying already. As others have pointed out, there's nothing wrong with hacks so long as they don't ruin games for others. Obviously you will have a few jackasses annoying the online community with their creations but as far as messing around offline, sometimes it's just fun to tinker with things in an attempt to see what you can come up with. Launching quads using AT Mines in Bad Company 2 isn't exactly playing the game a...
I don't really know who the morons disagreeing with me are or what they're disagreeing for. Being able to run emulators on your PS3 is cool and all but it's much easier to run them off of your PC. A standard browser is quicker and easier to use than the PS3's browser as far as downloading new roms are concerned. Again, so long as you have a controller, it's easier (to me anyway) to use your computer to run emulators. I've been using a driver that allows me to conne...
I really don't know what the big deal is. If you have a PC (or even a Mac) and a controller you can play NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1 and even old school Arcade games on your computer. I suppose it's always cool to have options but I've been playing old games on my notebooks using emulators for so long that I just don't really see the benefit of playing them on my PS3.
While it's pretty ridiculous for those folks to abuse the glitch I can't really say I'm surprised that it was discovered. Ever since folks started launching quads with AT Mines when BC2 first came out it was inevitable that people would try launching anything and everything. lol
That's because the Wii is a TOY while the PS3 (and even the 360) are much more than that.
The Hip-Hop Gamer wouldn't be any less stupid if he were white, green or purple. Race has nothing to do with why folks dislike him, folks dislike him because he's a clown who talks out of his ass and makes up most of the crap on his little video show. He either makes broad sweeping generalizations that are right one way or the other and then brags about how "he knew what he was talking about" or he throws some random rumor up on the wall in the hopes that it'll stick. ...
Absolutely brutal learning curve when it comes to the Motorstorm series but anyone who's looking for a challenge, ridiculous visuals and a flat-out rush should definitely give the franchise a try. I never played the first game that came with my PS3 and only tried Pacific Rift when I found it on sale for $10 new but after that I was hooked and went back to try the original. This series is vastly underrated.
I might have been impressed had I not seen this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Dayum. LOL.
double post.
Obvious title for hits is obvious.
