It'll be hard for me to buy this. While it does seem like Capcom is adding a lot of content to justify a separate release I just don't like having to buy an "upgraded" copy of a game I already picked up earlier this year that'll effectively render my current copy of SFIV obsolete. It's like someone buying both Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 GOTY Edition or LBP and LBP GOTY Edition except in both of those cases players who bought the original copy of the game had the option of purchasing ...
Wow. Yet another reasons to make me question getting this game. Very bad marketing IMO to announced DLC and its pricing so early on. I mean it's hard to get more early than "before release day".
I'll tell you though. The real thing that's been making me a bit nervous about Borderlands is that there has been very little information made available about what the game is like and how it is to play. I know you don't want to reveal everything about a game before it's ...
I dunno what the big deal is. We have enough multi-console shovelware on the PS3 as it is. Even if these two games did migrate over to the PS3 all it would mean is two more games for me to pick up when they go on clearance. I'm sorry but while ME1 and L4D weren't the worst games in the world they're certainly far from being the best.
Well look at the bright side. Turn 10 can now add "glitches" to the "list of features they beat Gran Turismo 5 at".
Of course Microsoft could cut the price. Considering what an unreliable piece of crap the 360 is I'm sure it only costs Microsoft about 50 cents to produce each unit.
Does QA even exist in the gaming industry anymore? "Please, tell us where the bugs are so we can fix them because we never got around to testing our own product in order to secure a release date ahead of Modern Warfare 2". Lazy much?
I liked the blurb at the end about a few of their favorite VG glitches. Upon reading that I immediately had thoughts of the famous JP scroll glitch from Final Fantasy Tactics. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
More like they should add the xbox 360 console to the list.
To answer Andy's question of "is this my fault?" Yes. Yes it is. It's your fault for being stupid enough to think that buying an unreliable POS would wind up being any different for you than it has been for anyone else.
No Savage Moon? This list sucks.
Is the 2GB memory stick that's included with the Gamestop Limited Edition version of the game not a big enough sign for you morons? Wake the hell up? Seems to me that that's a pretty obvious "sorry you folks without a HDD won't be able to enjoy the entire game but for an extra $20, here's a device that'll enable you to" move on Microsoft's/Turn 10's part right there.
@ BigKurz8
Agreed. Not to mention maDOUCHEa plagiarizes wikipedia when he himself decides to throw together one of his "top five lists" that FAIL harder than the xbox 360's reliability record. YourEMGN is a joke. Good for nothing but a few laughs at the end of the day.
All this talk of ridonkulous weapons and not one mention of R:FOM or R2? Everyone knows that the Bullseye is the ZF-1 from The Fifth Element they all dreamed they'd one day be able to use in a FPS.
The Bolt Gun from KZ2 was pretty out there too simply because it allowed you to send your enemies flying 30 feet through the air.
You guys really don't know how things work do you? A demo before release is not always necessarily a good thing. Look at what's going on with Forza 3 and players complaining about the crappy graphics. With a well known franchise like Need For Speed gamers are well aware of the next impending release. The thing is, gamers are also aware that the NFS franchise has been on a downward slope for quite some time. Carbon, Pro-Street and Undercover have all received lackluster reviews compared w...
If there were a Dr. Manhattan costume LBP would go from standing for Little Big Planet to Little Blue Penis. Not too family friendly at all. lol.
If you go to Amazon you'll notice that the #1 item there is KY Jelly. Apparently after oDLC went on sale there was a massive demand for n00b l00be to ease the pain caused by Microsoft shoving a giant "Moby White Whale" up each buyer's "Alternate name for the animal played by Eddie Murphy in Shrek".
Can't wait to see people shooting for sub 8 minutes times on a user created version of the NurburgRing.
That is the most ignorant and naive thing I've heard in the long time. You wanna know why you're not here to argue the value of ODST? Because you know it ain't worth $60.
First off, an eight hour campaign and horde mode. Yah because that's sooooo much content. Don't even bring up the Halo 3 MP because that is a straight rehash and you know it. The xbox crowd would be talking just as much trash if Insomniac tried to release a Resistance expansion for $60 that included the R...
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some or all of those additional classes (Ninja, Pirate, Cook, King) that were teased a few weeks ago.
Knowing Microsoft they'll create a new level of membership, "Xbox Live Platinum" and price it at $100. They'll add one or two new features and market it as "optional" for current Gold members who don't want to pay more than $50 a year. If the morons who are already comfortable paying $50 a year jump at it Microsoft wins. If it doesn't take they'll cut the price for a platinum membership to $70 a year and the kids will go "oh, it's only $20 more" and jump ship ...
