What are you talking about? While a good chunk of Home is available for free Sony still charges for all sorts of content. How does your flimsy excuse explain that one away? Like I said, Home falls into the category of "perpetual beta". Go and look it up.
bruddahman reiterates, "PS3 exclusives can only be played on the PS3".
You know Microsoft is getting desperate when they're bragging about the minute differences between multiplats on the 360 versus the PS3, most of which can be chalked up to lazy developers who do a half-assed job of porting their titles over from one console to the other.
Umm...no. When it gets to the point it has come to with Home, it becomes what's known as a "perpetual beta". Slapping "beta" onto something and using the tag as an excuse for a constantly unfinished product is lazy. I realize that the ideas and goals behind Home are massive and constantly changing at an ever-quickening pace, but Sony needs to drop the "beta" tag at this point. It's lazy and annoying when developers hide behind a simple word like that....
The PS3-360 war is a classic case of the Tortoise and the Hare. Microsoft started off strong out of the gates but in recent years their first party development and support has gone off a cliff. It's so bad that their #1 studio in Bungie opted to buy back their independence from MS. Meanwhile the Playstation 3 has finally come into its own and the future is looking very bright which is pretty amazing for a console entering its fifth year.

Some of the games listed are strange to say the least.
The most obvious title which sticks out is Forza with Forza 4 already in development. That'd be like suggesting that Sony should go out and give GT3: A-Spec an HD upgrade with GT5 already on the market.
Then you have Conker: Live & Reloaded, itself a remake of a great N64 game albeit a watered down and neutered remake. Rare already FAILed at remaking Conker once, why piss all over the series...
Throw a question mark onto the end of a sentence, and apparently you can get away with even the most ludicrously stupid headlines. Who writes this s***?
I've been saying for a while that the multiplayer actually looks pretty solid, which is quite amazing given how much of a disaster the single player is.
"It comes with two extra buttons and shiny lights." Look at how hard it was to type that without inserting all sorts of garbage like "OMG IT COMES WITH A 15' CABLE, AND NOT JUST ANY CABLE, A LIGHTWEIGHT CABLE...BRAIDED TOO".
The fact of the matter is that there's always a lead platform unless the games are being developed in a vacuum and completely independent from another which rarely happens from what I've seen over the years. I find it hard to believe that given their experience with the PS3's hardware that Insomniac would elect to make the 360 the lead platform in developing "Overstrike".
I'm not saying that the 360 version will be inferior at all, just that if on...
@Fez Why isn't it realistic? Audible (to the human ear) sound doesn't travel in space due to the fact that generally, there's nothing for sound waves to vibrate. However when there are large explosions, there may be enough gaseous material ejected to allow sound to propagate over short distances leading to one being able to hear said "muffled sounds".
Driver Demo Walkthrough.
Step 1. Turn On PS3 or XBox 360.
Step 2. Skip Driver Demo because is sucks ball sack.
-The End
Oh Lawd have mercy this looks good. I really love that they're going with realistic muffled sounds in space.
Has it been confirmed yet if the Soundtracks will carry over from the original game intact?
I'm a little wary of vehicles automatically regaining health.
The person who typed up this garbage clearly has a keyboard...but did we REALLY need another ridiculously asinine op-ed piece?
"Infamous" is making the author of this piece look really stupid.
Home is free. How anyone could ever find the time to write a bitchfest piece about it is beyond me. I agree that there are some things in Home which could be better implemented but for the most part, it's great at being a break from traditional gaming. It's loaded with fantastic casual content and all kinds of goofy s***. One visit to the "Burn Zombie Burn" dance room at the end of the hedge maze will convert even the most stubborn Home hater.
Some better pictures would help.
GTAIV and MGS4. I know I'll get a lot of hate for those but for me, San Andreas simply set the bar so high and GTAIV failed to live up to that. It was a great game no doubt, but it just wasn't San Andreas great.
As for MGS4, terrific controls, great action, underrated multiplayer and solid visuals, but the story and the boss fights were nowhere near as phenomenal as they were in MGS3. Just like GTAIV, Guns of The Patriots was a good game, but it's predecessor...
AWW BOO HOO, two big names talking smack. They've been taking jabs at each other IN-GAME for a while now. Hell, Activision's studios have been taking shots at one another in-house as we all saw (or heard rather) during the credits of COD4 when Infinity Ward sent a little jab in Treyarch's direction. Who cares? As others have said, the general masses won't really care and for the folks who visit sites like n4g, it's fun and good for some lulz.
If this...
