All this talk of a potential Wii HD is moot. PS3 + Move = Wii HD with better games. I've said it before. If the Move finds its way into enough homes, makers of mature titles for the Wii will jump ship to the PS3. Not only that, but there are titles for the PS3 that would actually be interesting with motion controls unlike the craploads of shovelware currently being sold by Nintendo.

Can you imagine playing a game like Demon's Souls, Folklore or Oblivion with motion controls? ...

Amazing that internet. You can pull the biggest pieces of crap out of your backside, slap it onto a page and label it "worth reading". "Which performance dominates the streets of the Middle East?" I'm sorry but the author of this crap is an idiot who knows nothing about film, nothing about games and nothing about the Middle East. Stick to playing scrub Activision games.

I'd agree if it weren't for the blatant double standard. Whenever a multiplat looks ever so slightly better on the 360 versus the PS3, reviewers tend to let their bias shine through by blatantly recommending the xbox version of the game to buyers. On the other hand, when the shoe is on the other foot with the PS3 being the clear winner with regards to FFXIII, no one says a peep. And this isn't some Need For Speed: Shift miniscule difference we're talking about here, but rather full 1080p v...

Rest assured that if the PS3 motion controller finds its way into enough homes, developers and producers of mature titles on the Wii will finally abandon the console and shift their work over to the PS3. Games like Dead Space: Extraction will finally have a home.

Funny how there wasn't a single mention of the PS3 version of FFXIII being vastly superior to the 360 version in GT's review. Like IGN and Gamespot, GT is at a loss for words when it comes to owning up and admitting that the Playstation actually did something better than the xbox. Whatever.

Me? I already know compromises were made to the game in order for it to be xbox compatible. I'll be waiting for the "International Version" that you know is coming within a yea...

Are you effing serious? I'd ask who'd be stupid enough to pay for maps they already have access to if they own COD4 but then I look at the sales figures for MW2 and go "oh wait, nevermind". And people wonder why I refused to buy this scrub game when it debuted. Bad Company 2 craps all over this overrated, overhyped and overmilked piece of crap.

This game has looked like SUCK since day one. Of the two similar titles being released this year, Split/Second looks much better. As for this being a "next gen Mario Kart" as someone suggested, sorry but if you want Mario Kart HD, you'll need to pick up a PS3 and a game called ModNation Racers.

I have to agree with everyone here who says that this is complete BS. I never actually played any of the previous Yakuza games but I understand how folks can be upset when things are cut from their version of the game (hello MK vs. DC Universe censored fatalities). That being said, here's hoping that Sega wakes the **** up and releases the cut content as free DLC. I'm sure that would appease both sides. They can stand behind their BS reason about not having enough time (I understand they ...

I will agree that gameplay trumps graphics in terms of what I find to be the most important aspects of a great title, however...gameplay AND graphics wins out over gameplay alone.

Sleeper hit. Looks to be a pretty good year for racing fans. Modnation Racers, GT5, Split/Second and hopefully Criterion can work their magic with the NFS franchise.

Release the game first and then we'll talk. It has been stated so many times that Alan Wake was/is inspired by Lost, Twin Peaks, various Stephen King books. It all depends on how much liberty Remedy takes with "inspired by". If Remedy does things in their own unique way and despite taking bits and pieces from here and there end up with something fresh and original, maybe. But if the plot ends up being a rehash of something people have already seen or read, stick to making games ...

In addition to MGS4 and VC, might I also add Heavenly Sword to the list of games that would be deserving of a trophy patch.

My solution to cheaters involves my right index finger and a lot of **** talking. I figure it must hurt your pride even more when you attempt to cheat/lag/hack and you still get merced by someone who simply has more game than you. Reports/complaints never get the job done IMO. The person will simply find another way to get back online in the future. Better to put him down and make him realize that shortcuts won't cut it when you're playing against people who are simply better than you.

Umm, anyone who's owned a PS3 since late 2007/early 2008 could have told you that a lot had changed since launch day in terms of quality games, improvements to the XMB, improvements to PSN, improvements to the console hardware itself etc... I find it humorous that IGN pretends like this is some sort of breaking news when people who weren't blind fanboys have been saying this for over two years already.

Umm, the Dualshock's buttons have been in the same damn spot for over 15 years. If you have trouble figuring out which buttons to push without looking down you're either new to the Playstation franchise or a damn idiot with some of the worst hand-eye in the world.

So what? Yeah MGS4 was a great game but I'd be lying if I said that it was the PS3's best. More proof that sales aren't the final word as far as fun factor is concerned because as much as I enjoyed MGS4, I enjoyed MGS3 a lot more. Not to mention the fact that there are games out there for the PS3 which I would consider better than MGS4 which haven't sold nearly as many copies. Kudos to Konami and Sony for producing a seller from a business standpoint, but from the standpoint of a gamer......

This is complete and utter crap IMO and really says a lot about a developer as far as I'm concerned. Your ultimate goal as a game developer should be to develop the best possible gaming experience regardless of whether the player is pushing X/Square/Triangle/Circle, W/A/S/D, or X/Y/A/B. Why should folks who bought a superior console be penalized because a particular manufacturer decided to go the "cheap and lazy" route? Similarly, those who spend the extra cash for a superior gam...

Where the eff is GTAIV? Most of the games here could be readily avoided by anyone with half a brain and an internet connection. Seriously, if you bought Terminator Salvation, GI Joe or about half of the games on this list you're an idiot for not doing your homework. Established franchises with great history like GTAIV should comprise such lists IMO. When you have an established franchise that sells on name alone and an installment ends up being a dud, THAT'S a disappointment. Crap that l...

So full of win I am at a lost for words. BC1 was a great game but DICE took what they learned from the first installment, applied the necessary changes to it's sequel and then cranked the boom factor up to 11. Day one purchase for sure.
