Sorry but that's just it. By all accounts Scorpio isn't just a buffed up Xbox one. It's why digital foundry was so amazaded. It's why ms was so confident to show. It's why there is more excitement around Scorpio than there was around PS4 pro. It's why People wonder and debate if it's a new gen system or not!
I think it will have some features yet to be announced.
Disagree with you about the difference not being worth it. I think the difference at 1080 p but having more graphical effects. Like higher detailed texture / shadows. Better draw distance. Solid frame rate and faster loading are bigger differences to me than the bump from just going from 1080p to 4K.

Why? They would only look marginally better. This list of games should be ported out of Nintendo hardware and onto PlayStation/Xbox so maximum number of people can enjoy them. Since 1 the games are hindered by Nintendo hardware and 2 desire for Nintendo systems have shown the trend of waning over time only exception was the Wii which sold to a larger audience including seniors and soccer moms. Nothing wrong with that by the way.

I agree. It's not just that its powerful. It's also really smartly designed. And the level of thought that went into things. The customizations made and the efficiency. As well it's the first time that hardware was built around current game engines. Instead of devs getting hardware and making game engines to run on the hardware. We'll see how all this pans out. Hopefully we see some great performing and playing games as a result.
i don't know how a sony direct would be... but it could't be worse than a nintendo direct.

Except you don't need a 5000 dollars new tv. Scorpio improves games across the board even on your existing 1080 p tv. Either you never read the details about the system. Or you're in denial. Or your trying to downplay / spread lies / damage control.

thats another thing nintendo is known to do. restrain supply to generate artificial demand. google it and you can see they did it with the wii, amiibo and nes classic.
i did play pikmin 3 back in 2013 when it was released. sorry for suggesting nintendo support their platforms with more and new games. yes sony had an entire conference about it where they controlled the messaging (poorly at that).
