Are you implying that Septic wasn't impressed by the difference 900p vs 1080p (xone vs ps4) so therefore now he isn't allowed to be impressed by the difference between 1080p vs 4k (xone vs scorpio)? Nobody wants games upon games if they are not good games. Exercising some quality control isn't necessarily a bad thing. If scalebound looked like it would be a fun game and review well do you think ms would have canceled it? There is obviously more to the story than we're aware of.

i think your article is a bit premature.. if scorpio releases and it's $600 you may have a point. but at this stage your making assumptions on price. no one really knows the price it will be, and looking at sources and component prices dont really mean anything in and industry where hardware has been typically sold at a loss to gain market share and recoup cost in software sales.

The Xbox Exec is quit right and isn't running his mouth. To get boost mode on a playstation game you need to buy a ps4 pro, then turn on boost mode if the game supports it. is that right?
my understanding of scorpio is, you buy the system and every xbox 360 and xbox one game automatically plays betters due to the smart console design "boost mode" is baked in at a system/hardware level. you odn't have to activate any modes. and you don't need a game ...

actually if you read they DF articles on scorpio, some do mention how scorpio is akin to the 360 in that the 360 was so advanced for it's time that even thought it came out first, it was more powerful than the ps3 that came out after.
and your downplaying scorpio being the most powerful by saying basically any new system is more powerful than the previous... i suppose you think the switch is more powerful than ps4/xobx one then?

Interesting... I believe you regarding BOTW trumping PS4's library thus far. I own a ps4 and an xbox as well. It's funny i always seem to be on the opposite side of popular opinion. When 360 was the rave and outselling ps3, i was enjoying ps3 more. and now that ps4 is the rage outselling xbox, i sincerely enjoying the xbox one more, i dunno how that works!

Thanks I’ll BOTW a honest go, but when I don’t know. That’s brings another point of contention with Nintendo. Other companies will offer sales and discounts on their games relatively soon after release. Probably month or next we’ll see new tittles like Mass Effect Andromeda or Horizon Zero Dawn for $15-$20 off and regular sales/discounts through the year, probably $30-$40 off by November. But Nintendo will be stringent at keeping BOTW at full MSRP until the tittle is mov...
Only time will tell if it will succeed.

I disagree. I had a NES (missed SNES) N64, GC, Wii and WII U, as well as DS and 3DS. Needless to say, i'm a fan, but for the last year or two Nintendo hasn't seen a dollar from me. Those 2016 products you mention didn't excite me in anyway to warrant a purchase. Pokemon Go, and Super Mario Run (mobile games while my wii u collected dust) and NES mini i don't need because I still have a working NES plus purchased my favorite games on virtual console ages a...
