I completely agree with you. It's just fun to think about.
I'm wondering if they have deals with Microsoft.
Microsoft needs exclusives deals. Sega and Microsoft alway had good relationships. Microsoft helped with dreamcast. And sega helped with the original Xbox.
Microsoft also wants to get in with the Japanese market. And Phil was recently in Japan talking to devs. Sega has some IPs that would resonate with Japanese market.
Also recent leak that Microsoft had a bifnthird party exclusive...
Maybe now might be a good time. Home console market can support 3 consoles. Xbox one. PS4. And a new one from sega! Nintendo is a write off they unofficially bowed out of home consoles with the switch. Now they are alone in the "hybrid" market.
In a post switch world. I don't think a vita two would be able to compete.
Looks like Nintendo expects to continue charging full price for budget games. No voice acting even.
I own all three of those systems and all three were worthwhile purchases! I personally had a blast with all of them.
I'm looking forward to playing PS4 some more tho. I've had it since launch and only played 5 games on it:
1. P.T. - a demo, but was creepy.
2. Second Son - sorely let down. Loved first 2 infamous and pretty much let down bad by this one.
3. MGS5 - worse metal gear and the only one I didn't finish. Seemed like g...
Despressing if this is their best
This isn't their best. Ironicly they're at their best when they do in fact switch it up. Like when the brought Mario sunshine. Or switching up a franchise like diddy Kong racing. Or brand new things like eternal darkness or signing exclusives like RE4 and Killer 7 viewtiful joe etc.
All we have now is a deluxe version of Wii u Mario kart 8 and a straight port of Zelda Wii u first showed off ages ago at a VGA sho...
Yep, made me turn my head in the opposite direction.
yes... heaven forbid we acknowledge Windows is a Microsoft product right? oh look at the fud i'm spreading right now...here's some more fud steam runs on windows.
"Evidently, Windows isn't going anywhere, with a Steam market share of nearly 96% as of March 2016. In fact, Epic Games even recently called Microsoft out on trying to "monopolize" PC gaming with its Universal Windows Platform initiatives."
96% market share.. wan...
Dominates is subjective. It's not like Sony is 90% and Microsoft is 10%. Heck it's not even Sony at 80% and Microsoft at 20%.
Sony is at 46% and Microsoft is at 30%. A lead yes but hardly "domination"
Also considering Microsoft's cross platform push with play anywhere. Windows or Xbox. And pc gaming basically being windows.
If you add Xbox at 30% and pc at 17%. That's 47% you can make a case The publisher make...
so instead of playing something so good that it set a bar...a standard you'd expect going forward... switch actually lowered your bar. interesting.
agree with you guys, but there was this game i loved on ps2 called gallop racer. was a lot of fun, i'd love another one, it let you breed horses manage your farm and race them.
i wonder if this game has that kinda depth, i'd give it a try if it did.
edit: wow quick google search and the game is awful lol 0.3 on meta critic like one user review.
this looks amazing. looks better than gran turismo to me. but i i couldn't help wonder how mario kart would be on that engine...
ps3 was my go to blu ray player, but since the ps3 and 360 got kicked out of the main tv for ps4 xbox one s, the xbox one s is the main player. partly because the ps3 remote won't work with ps4 which sucks. but my universal remotes works with xbox one so it's all good.
I have to agree with this. As a ps and Xbox fan. Having both consoles. And recently upgrading to a 4k tv. I jane not interest in a PS4 pro but am super excited for Scorpio. Hope I'm not let down by Scorpio.
Feel like after the last 2 years Nintendo are the least exciting at e3. At this point even third party conferences are anticipated and they are nothing to get excited about
It's been years since the Wii... its been years since Nintendo had a successful console.
I could of made the same point about the Wii u. But then you would of said the Wii u was a flop and switch is selling good. So I bypassed the Wii u and went straight Wii. Damned if u do damned if u don't.
The Wii had amazing sales as well. But didn't change the fact third party support was crap.
If the switch continues to have great sales it won't change the fact that third party support will be crap. And it's Nintendo's fault again. Just like with the Wii. Nintendo chooses to release underpowered hardware compared to competitors and thus their platform gets gimped versions of third party games.
While PS3 / 360 were getting dead space Wii w...
You can tell a unsuccessful game. They are practically giving away the order now. I got it a while back when it was on sale for $7
It would be weird. PlayStation systems usually have a long life cycle.
