Nintendo have been in this business longer than anyone. And launched more products than Sony / ms. Back to nes/famicom to all the home systems after. Not to mention many many handhelds and revisions. They know how to manufacture and project demand.
I feel they artificially constrain products to generate demand / buzz and make ppl want to buy it if they see it. Cus you think OMG THEY'RE IN STOCK! I BETTER GET IT!

Love Nintendo and their games so I dunno why but I still have no interested in getting a switch. Nothing shown excites me. Just can't get behind this yet. Maybe eventually but definitely not now.
Sony has street fighter as well. Ms should have worked with sega to secure virtual fighter on Xbox....anyways I guess they got killer instinct.

They pretty good at having big surprise. Think previous years when final fantasy was announced for Xbox. Or tomb raider exclusive (who saw that?) or backwards compatibility. Or even last year who saw them announcing 2 new prices of hardware? One s and Scorpio. They are pretty good at e3. Agree nintendinis worse now. That year when they saved star fox and it looked like hot trash.

I loved the reboot and rise of tomb raider. I got both systems so if it were exclusive to one or the other it wouldn't bother me.
I'd be excited if they chose to dedicate resources and focused on the Scorpio build first and foremost to get the most out of the new hardware- even if that meant making it times exclusive for Scorpio, and focus on porting the others in the following months.

Quantum break was one of my favourite gaming experiences. But if they made the game and made the show separate I wouldn't enjoy any less. There was no reason they had to be together. Game and show would each stand on their own.
Congrats Sony. I like what you're doing. You're trying to keep tradition home console business alive by having clear generational gaps. Affordable hardware that is always dropping in price and great single player games. I also don't get the whole games as a service vibe from Sony - and I like that.

Disagree with the article. Sony has nothing to worry about. Sony has great first and third party games. Switch just has first party games as we know third party support on Nintendo is lackluster.
As well nintendo knows they can only compete with Sony Microsoft in the home console market that's why they came up with this "hybrid" jack of all trades master of non system to try and carve out a different audience to avoid competition.
