Most of those are NOT games. They're brief tech demos for much more money than they're worth. There is a distinct lack of interest by 3rd party devs and the actual games have been ported have significantly diminished graphical fidelity than their non-vr counterparts. The general gaming population is STILL waiting for a single "killer app". All of this lays the blame for lacklustre sales squarely on Sony's shoulders.
I'm on board for your film project Stef, because it's YOU honey... but ONLY because it's you.
The production looks like a high school project shot by someone with no cinematic sense. Lay some After Effects filters on that trailer at least.
Ah yes. The reference is to N4G users, who are presumably actual gamers (why would they be here otherwise). I get it now.
"real gamers"?!?
As opposed to all the imaginary people playing games on their consoles?
What a croc of bullsh*t. Japanese company playing favourites while we get an endless stream of indies I have no interest in.
I can't remember the last time I was excited by a PS Plus offering... I shouldn't have renewed... it's just been a f*cking waste of money.
BioWare is and has always been a Canadian company. It is currently owned by an american company but it is still operating out of Canada.
To each their own. I think I could appreciate the merits of a subtle game like this, and I've been happily living with my girlfriend for last 18 years.
It's like saying you would have to be a borderline psychopath to enjoy the endless stream of games featuring endless streams of murder.
Agreed.
I loved both of them (even more than the early GTAs). I always wondered why this excellent series wasn't continued. I'd like to see an open world modern London featured in a new Getaway game.
My local independent will have my support for as long as he can stay open, even if games sometimes cost a couple of bucks more than the big chains. I suspect he'll may still even be able to survive long after Gamestop calls it quits. His definition of worthwhile success is probably a lot more reasonable than when Gamestop's shareholder board glares at the profit margin of a financial report. He gets to support his family AND play free games. Win-win.
That's the craziest thing I've ever read.
What are your thoughts/verdict?
ONLY IF:
a.) there was the option to back up ALL content to secondary and tertiary hard drives for as many redundancies as I see fit because all hard drives die (vs game discs which sit pristine in cases for decades).
and
b.) There was NO ONLINE REQUIREMENT beyond a game's initial download (so that if a game is no longer supported or available or if the game maker goes belly-up or the console manufacturer themselves are defunct, my ...
Grow a pair.
Much ado about nothing.
People don't generally spend money on games that they haven't already got a reasonable expectation of enjoyment from, so the base of experience from which they make assessments is skewed upward.
I like to play (or at least try) a broad spectrum of genres and styles, which opens me up to a greater likelihood of disappointment, but I still haven't played very many games that I would rate less than a 5.
The last really mediocre game I played through was probably the...
7/10 is NOT a "bad" review in any realm.
My bet is that it's going to be a masterpiece as good as any of it's predecessors. In fact my money is already down for a very rare day-one copy (and I don't generally pre-order anything anymore because I've been burned way too many times).
Btw, I was perfectly happy with the original AND the tacked on endings for ME3. I don't think BioWare should have capitulated to the whiners in the first place.
It reminds me of Ridley Scott tacking on the ridiculous h...

it's click vulture, so... who cares.
Just goes to show that teens don't generally have any idea what's "cool".
They usually have the most bland, limited ideas of what constitutes music, make the worst fashion choices, jump on the most ridiculous trends -no wonder Doritos gets a mention.
It's not their fault though. I blame greedy adult corporate douchebags without scruples and marketers with no taste with all their idiotic promotions.
