To give a game like this a 9.5 for graphics when there are clearly graphical errors and issues present at almost every section of the game, withholding the corridor like sections, is insane.
Can reviewers please open their eyes? Jaggy edges or loaded textures in some other games are criticized with a fine tooth comb, but this game gets a free pass?

Xbox 360 had its major issues since launch, including security issues and problems with piracy, which they are still dealing with. Just because Sony's problems are in the news now doesn't mean MS doesn't have their own.

I just got crysis 2, I'm about half way through the single player. I already beat KZ3.
I have to say KZ3 is visually, and technically a more sound and polished game.
Crysis 2's lighting is top notch almost all the time, but the graphical issues and bugs are so apparent it detracts from what would be an extremely beautiful game. Texture load ins everywhere, shadow issues, weird clipping issues, floating objects, low resolution textures, etc....

If kz didn't add anything then Crysis didn't, don't be a fanboy.
Both are good series that have their own unique style thats comprised of elements not present in other FPS titles.

What is wrong with a cover system in what is supposed to be a tactical shooter?
This isn't COD, some people play it that way, but its supposed to be about team work and tactics.
I played it for a few hours earlier and it felt good all around.
But opinions are opinions. It def does feel upgraded from games like MAG and Confrontation. I wasn't expecting it to be this good.
After watching the video, I have a strong feeling that score was accidentally reversed.
I think the game is awesome.
Some people are complaining saying its not a true Socom game, but when I first played the Beta it said to me updated Socom 2 (my favorite). Yea, its not exactly the same, but the evolutions aren't bad.
It still has that tactical feel that most modern shooters lack. I actually like the team killing, makes you be more careful with your shots. I like the upgrade system and the lack of killstreaks.

Slant Six had some problems with Confrontation, but at least they corrected their issues. Honestly Confrontation wasn't bad at launch, but wasn't great either, just got better with patches.
But considering that I will keep a close eye on this one before I pick it up. Just to make sure they've learned their lessons with Confrontation.

haha, but I can see how that point can be interpreted to be false. COD sells millions, but that doesn't mean its better than games like KZ, Socom, etc....
1. 3 games released in GT series during that time: GTP, GTPSP, and GT5.
2. Neither GT5's or Forza 3 damage is photo realistic all the time. In forza you crash head on and have scratches in your paint all over your car. In GT5 you crash head on and sometimes nothing happens, other times damage is good.
3. GT physics have been the benchmark on consoles for a long time now.
4. Forza sales are greater in the US right now. But overall GT5 ...
The hype surrounding the GT series is volumes above the hype for Forza.
That is why GT5 was criticized so harshly for the smallest things that games like Black Ops get a free pass on.
I think GT5 is a solid 9, especially after the updates a 9.5. The game did feel a bit lacking on a few things at first, but the updates quickly fixed that while adding more meat to the game.

I agree those cars look bad. But I have played GT5 extensively and can tell you that the overall majority of cars look far better than those.
Almost every car, excluding a few ugly black ducklings such as the ones you've provided, look better than many racing games on consoles.
I also think cockpit view should have been in every car, which is one of my only disappointments with GT5.
Oh I know, I read it, but putting videos of the Demo version of the games cripples the articles credibility.
I could have written a very similar article just reading reviews and LOT and DF comparisons.

To be fair, GT5 also has a few 9's, as did Forza. But I would not be surprised if this game does score a higher meta since there was tremendous pressure on every aspect of GT5 due to its hype.
But then again, Shift 2 built up a little hype of its own. I enjoyed the first one, so might pick up the second one.
Maybe I was a bit harsh haha. But I can deal with jaggies to. I just think the pop in and texture loading around every corner mixed with frame drops is very displeasing to the eye.
I mean I'm still playing it, I just don't think the game should be applauded for its "performance" in the graphics department. They are nice, but not executed nicely.
