The maps keep getting worse and worse and worse and worse. It's like they don't play test the game at all. CoD 2 and 4 still have the best maps by miles.
But then again, they probably make the maps bad on purpose now to make more people buy the DLC. Activision are involved and that would make more money, so by that logic it is happening.

TW2 is by far the best game this year. But its not a multiplat (yet) or console exclusive so it's instantly not allowed to be GOTY for some reason.
I wouldn't give it 10/10 (I think I saw 1 bug lol), but then I wouldn't give UC3, batman, BF3 or Skyrim 9/10.

I played the first one for 10 minutes. It was dire bad.
Alone in the dark started off OK. Then it went "now go and do the same thing 93 trillion times elsewhere" and nobody played it after that.
Game is thoroughly shader capped on most systems.
Higher resolution textures shouldn't cause any issues for most people. It might give you a 10fps drop if say, you are already getting 100fps lol.
A TV and 1 or 2 monitors is best :P
Sometimes you just need a monitor rather than a TV for computer stuff or certain games (counter strike) and the TV is perfect for distance viewing.

OnLive does and always will have lag.
So it will NEVER be a replacement, except for casual gaming morons who don't notice the huge lag. (60ms round trip time or thereabouts being loads when added onto the game engine's input lag).
Also each instance of a game is running quite scaled down and will always have to be provided the game is recent (and not made to deliberately not take advantage of modern performance harware).
