"Microsoft can afford to lose a ton of money on each one sold, Sony and Nintendo defo cant. "
No, all 3 camps can afford to lose money on each one sold with ease. That is often a standard business model. Hell, if they gave it away for free then the game sales (and so profits) would be astronomical, maybe ^_^
But they won't be loosing as much as last gen if they do sell at a loss because the cost of nearly all computing equipment has dropped dram...
No, no, no, no and... lol :P
Here's roughly what it will look like:

lol
"So apparently cheerleading is a big deal in the US; a sport..."
It's technically not a sport. Though it should be classed as one.
See related video, and be very very very angry.
The gamecube sold fine, just slightly less than the xbox. It just looked bad if you compared it to the PS2's incredible sales.
MGS works well as a 20 hour movie. Loved MGS4 so much ^_^
If they were to make movies, they should just be film adaptions of the stories as presented in the games starting with MGS, for people who don't play games. It could be pulled of extremely well, but I wouldn't trust it to be and in that sense I don't think there should be a metal gear movie. Also... the first film representing MGS alone would be about 4 hours long for it to not skip vital details lol.
Yeah, there is piracy on consoles. But it is far less of a problem than on PC because its a lot easier for your average end-user on PC than it is on consoles. Also consider the fact that there are so many more PCs out there than there are consoles, loads of people who aren't gamers torrent games but wouldn't even buy it anyway if they were unable to pirate it.
(properly) Hacked 360s can boot up in hacked or normal mode. In normal mode, it is an ordinary 360 and MS hav...
Author has.... 0 understanding.
"each system sold is money for the companies"
Not really, only in the latter half of the generation usually.
But yeah well said.

"demand BC"
Not always possible though. The whole point in console hardware is them being able to make a custom solution to fit exactly what is optimal at that point in time, so it can be pricy or impossible to allow backwards compatibility. The jump in hardware from PS2/Xbox to PS3/360 was so huge that they either had similar architecture (360 and xbox are practically PCs) or the older architecture was very cheap to include in the new model (BC PS3s basically have ...
"They just don't flow as if it was real. I love how Uncharted do the voice and motion capture in the same take. It makes it seem so much more real."

"driv3r"
what :S
Ah well I guess we all have vastly different taste in games lol.
Get rid of the sports games and just go outside and play them for real tbh.
Then add in some of the AMAZING games that were totally ignored in that list. Hardly a top 20 lol.
PS2 had so many fantastic games that making a true top 20 list should take weeks to perfect lol, there are just way too many games worth mentioning.
WTF how is that article so badly written? Looks like google translate but it's not... even something apparently copied from a website is in fluent Engrish.
"It just wouldn't be fair to not let anyone else play the game, just because some idiot doesn't like it"
This ^
But tbh the petition is just a troll, though there genuinely have been things nearly as retarded (WBC for examlple).
Think about "wouldn't be fair to not let anyone else" and "just because some idiot" and apply that to alcohol taxing, the planned fatty foods tax (worst plan ever), certain dr...
"substantially lower IQ than the general population"
No, it's probably about average if not higher than average. People in general are very, very, very, very, very dumb... very. People on N4G have a habbit of debubbing people just to be annoying or to troll, knowing fine right that they are in the wrong :P
Like when I said OnLive wouldn't kill consoles, and I somehow lost a bubble :/ not sure where I picked one back up though because 99% of ...
It's a troll, but then... are the WBC trolls?
"no one can hack your phone as you walk by and that code can't copy and paste itself either"
Yes... they can. There were talks referring to the vulnerabilities at BruCON 2011. Of COURSE the code can copy and paste itself, once one phone is hacked (which can be done from any wifi device including other phones) they have code execution on the phone and can do whatever they want with it remotely. The vulnerability itself has been around since the dawn of smart phon...
Oooohhh. Far Cry 3 :P
Forgot about that 1. Hopefully it has decent gunplay unlike the crapstorm that was Far Cry 2. Judging by the gameplay videos it goes back to its roots somewhat which can only be a good thing. But I don't have faith in anything published by Ubisoft anymore so only time will tell.
GTA5 and ME3 are another 2 games I am really looking forward to. Don't want to put any trust in Halo 4 just yet because Halo Anniversary doesn't real...
Yeah lol, far less effort went into that concept and it's by miles the most sensible.
As for the ones in the article... (excluding the toaster ofc)
Not sure if trolling...
