Thinking it would be called 720 is 100% speculation and nothing more.
2014??? Ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
2012 could be slightly too early but 2014 would be pushing it.
CoD players need video guides to learn to use auto aim?
Looks like a decent improvement. The one think I want though is being able to bind l+r hand sets (like sword+shield as 1 number, 2 spells as another number and 2 daggers as another etc.)
Might see if I can make that mod if nobody else gets to it first. I'll probably be too lazy, busy playing the game as-is :P
I'll stick to dwarf fortress :P
"They like to have "girl" in there clan name"
Those are dudes taking the piss.
Well aware of those issues. I won't get the first one to launch on day 1 incase the other (or others) turn out to be far better.
All 3 were excellent.
"Nintendo had no online strategy in place."
That is all.
Hmmm... I am going to quote some of this and do what people do on n4g by seeming like a fanboy/elitist, but while making a good point. While I replay gta4 on a 360 (loving every minute of it).
"the hit FPS for either the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or PC." "Activision had a version of the game made for the Wii, too" "...show you how Modern Warfare's standard-definition option compares for those who don't own an HD system."

"XBOX Live integration for Windows 8"
I am sure they mean just rebranding games for windows live.
Allowing xbox games on PC would be a terrible business plan.
I have consoles too.... why would I want to play multiplats on them?
Oh also it's worth saying. If you live in the EU you can return your PS3 copy for this reason. The shop might say no and if they do they are breaking the law (ofc the person working there might not be fully aware but the manager should), even if it is bought online you can 'return' it because it is flawed (not fit for purpose overrides the DSA in the UK, probably the same in the whole EU - it can apply to Steam games sometimes despite the eula saying otherwise but then they close ...
Mods that fix the game graphics are more popular lol. Yes I would call the post-processing a fix, makes the game look a lot nicer and doesn't touch the frame rate (at least not for my, and my PC isn't high end).
I think the consoles could run those post processes too - not just PC. PS3 runs MLAA I think already and there are other games that are doing more complecated tasks on the SPUs than skyrim will be. Also post processing wouldn't require any more than a few ...
It's because the save file gets bigger, and bigger, and biggers in their engine (it has to). Their load/save code will probably try to work with it in chunks but maybe it's not perfectly programmed, and 1 single mistake in programming can cause huge problems but usually causes an entire piece of software to completely fail or simply not compile.
I remember Morrowind on xbox taking over 15 minutes to load, sometimes forever. (it crashes on the loading screen and you do...
"Would be kinda a big project though."
Would be less of a project than the game's original development though :D
I reckon itd' sell millions as long as they market it well to the console market.
The Notched Pickaxe isn't necessarily an easter egg and thinking it might be is purely speculation (maybe if thats their intention if for it to be an egg lol). Notched items have existed in RPGs and older Elder scrolls titles forever, it's a descriptive term - there are notches in the item :/
I tried the demo ( http://www.arma2.com/demo/i... ) and didn't like it.
It performed exceptionally badly for the complexity of the scene :( I can't play PC shooters without consistently high frame rates and would need a new machine to play it if I even liked it. Another similar game, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising - suffered from pretty much all the same flaws. I bought it on release because ...
:o
I said pretty much the same thing down below :P
I've yet to properly play through TW2 because I want a new graphics card to appreciate it in its fullest. My GTX280 is doing nicely but it does struggle at times and a game that focusses on graphics that much deserves to be played in it's full glory.
Though, there are a few quality problems with it; but for a small studio they have done extremely well, especially compared to the likes...
"kinda like if you never ate anything but hotdogs and drank water
you wouldn't care that people were having steak and soda pop."
This makes sense ^
But Brownghost has a point, graphics aren't important.
But when they push consoles too hard to get better graphics than they were designed to provide it makes gameplay suffer - input lag, low frame rates, stuttering, less game content on the disk (if it's a D...
