missing free realms - even though it's made for little 9-year-olds and is rubbish.
Also, runescape has consistently gained popularity before and during wow's existance.
no doubt there are a bunch of others. Archlord is around, and entropia...
how did the article miss these?
my thoughts exactly.
ff12 was ok, a bit different - but ok. Love a bit of lost odyssey though - despite it's xbox exclusivity. But they only chose the xbox for the market slice, not through any bs reason. And they allowed the option for japanese voice ^_^
no space on the dvd unfortunately
the ps3 version is only in danger of being not better than the 360 version. if there never was a 360 version ill bet the game would be considerably better, probably completely different
Sarcasm understands whats going on here.
The blurring is a result of the tv signal being 720p on a 1080p tv. or the result of 1080i (which is complete fail and should never exist).
if your tv is 720p then both game and cg will be 720p, simply. (im sure there is space enough on br to store both without downscaling, even with downscaling from 1080 the picture is barely worse than an original render at 720)
if the tv is 1080 then either the signal to the tv...
Doesn't really make a difference. The game was still made fail so it can run on the xbox. All they had to do to put those little extras in was rerender cgi and compress audio differently. Isn't exactly much work for a dev team like enix.
lol. He is clearly mixing up mmos and dumb client games.
The difference being dumb client games are processed entirely in a server then the audio and video is returned. But at no point ever will that be possible without input lag (we are limited by the speed of light of course).
MS and Sony are only paying attention to it because they need to keep all their options open, there is no proof they are planning on moving to that rubbish. If there is word of a development ...
Sensibly tested and written up specs. I like to see that.
Unlike dirt2 claiming you need an i7, which is total bs.
my jasper died last week. ms expect me to pay for shipping to them for repair
LOL
solution? develop for pc
exactly
odst was a great great game. Should have been nominated tbh.
I still think killing floor was by a long long long way the best game out this year. I certainly spent by miles the longest time playing it.
Sure the gfx are not up to scratch, neither are the animations or sound effects... the game is full of bugs too. But it was very cheap, and very very very fun - and that is what games are all about, fun. It was great to hop on with up to 5 friends and maul mutants for a while...
i'll be honest you are the first annoying ps3 fanboy I have ever seen. you were destined to be a fanboy with those xbox360 people but somehow you ended up liking the ps3.
imho both systems are excellent, the ps3 is a much better piece of hardware but microsoft bought out a lot of decent games to the dark side (or even just to multiplat). Not that im saying the ps3 has no games, just the 360 has more (yes, it does...) - and many of them are good. Now it wouldn't surprise me if you...
@PS3_HAS_GAMES
they havn't nominated any xbox exlusives...
how can they nominate l4d2 and assassins creed 2 without them being out long enough to have properly played extensively.
very well stated coolfool. Also though, people often point at upbringing, parents etc. But how much differnt factors affect different people varies massively: other things like friendships & bullying could have been involved, for other people there are issues such as relationships; these could tip somebody over the edge even if their upbringing was ideal.
you are still missing the point that there is noting to say games were the cause. the article doesn't even say what games the boy played, maby they were all for his age group - it won't matter, caus they didn't cause the attempted shooting
well...
we dont want to play against americans, because M$ always make them the host even if one of us is on a fibre optic line with open NAT :/
i guess the reason they are staggering the weekends of free xbl is to not overload the (rubbish) servers.
@Perjoss
it is not so much a technical challenge. more one of fairness (perhaps more-so with PC vs console) and business.
Of course there are some technical issues but there are dirty workarounds for t...
ill be hapy if the pc version is not a port.
