However, players who do get banned will have to buy the game again to be able to get on the official network. But this means pirates and cheaters are targeting users more - whereas with cod4 there wasn't a market for stollen accounts.

you should be able to run it very well. maby a little more than 2.2GHz or perhaps a quad (if its optimized for that) would help slightly. 9800gtx is a beastly card. your fps probably wont drop below 60 on full.

8800gtx is the same performance as 9800gtx - in almost all situations
the cpu requirements are lieing so damn much. I 100% guarantee that it would run only a couple of fps higher on an i7 than a c2q at somewhere over 3 GHz, because the cpu bottleneck would be eliminated and even the 4890 doesn't shift the balance to cpu bottleneck (or anything other than RAM bottleneck)
if they allowed dedicated servers this problem would be lessened (as the central servers only handle the server listing, rather than matchmaking, accounts and migration etc)

no, the engine technically supports "servers" but only in listen form. It's already using them - its just that they are hooked into the game itself. You will notice the same thing in source engine games for example, when even single player mods have server-like config parameters. I love the way killing floor did things. A small development team, low price tag, PC only title.
Sold insane quantities and is still selling well. More importantly the game gets regular huge updates, and the only things they ask you to pay for are alternate character skins if you so wish, at a very low price.
dedicated servers are less required now than they were before: because in general the computers today are more able to do all the hit detection etc that would normally be carried out on the server, likewise internet bandwidths and ping times are improving gradually.

these shots are VERY badly taken. It seems nobody checked that the image on screen provided similar environments and effects on both halfs: most of them have the shadows on the left, etc.
except the games have been lowered in quality and content so they can run on the xbox. Also, i don't even know if the ps3 will have the option of japanese voices :( if it does i am buying a ps3 to play it.
