yeah, the code written for cell is specific for each of the spes, but you can easily mash all of that into xenon and it'll sort it out. it doesn't work as well going the other way.
i'm still waiting for sony to announce a trade in system... though i doubt one will come though :-(
yeah, i can live without rumble too, but if they introduce the feature and phase out the sixaxis, eventually i'll want the new one, you know?
wow, what the heck is there to disagree with. do you NOT want a trade in system where you can swap a sixaxis for a DS3? would that not be a good thing? learn to read the f*cking post before you disagree with it.
wetwork. sniper's dream. woot
excellent. i finally have use for that imac keyboard... (vintage 1998)
and yeah, by the sound of his words, it seems like its almost done. i wonder whats holding it up
if a game can sell 360 to a japanese audience, its a game by Sakaguchi. however, i fear its too little, too late. especially with the game being turn based when most other rpgs are headed towards smooth flowing actiony types. but then again, being different is good.
is it a bad thing if the 4 games i'll own by the end of the year are all fps? r:fom, vegas, cod4, ut3... hmmm
i need my share of jrpgs... where are you my beloved ffxiii?
its great to see such a big name say something positive. now, does it support keyboard and mouse? i'm pretty sure i've read that it does.
funny, this coming from a person who posts in every console war related story that pops up
don't worry. the evidence seen pointed towards one conclusion and you took it.
back of official game box says 18 players
offical 360 website says 16 players.
anyone can draw conclusions from that.
blizzard has to be in there somewhere. unless its console developers (but even then, starcraft made its way to n64.. haha)
nintendo has to be there somewhere, but i feel that if sony doesn't make it there, it got shafted, because the gamut of 1st party and 2nd party devs they have are completely world class.
everyone's all happy because 360 fanatics have always touted live as the better online mode, (which i agree it is) but now that by some god influenced way, the ps3 version supports more players than the 360 version is just such a change from the norm.
thats very true, but my comp (a macbook) has 64mb of shared graphics memory.. lol so i doubt i'll be picking up the pc version any time soon. lol. i love it for what it does, but gaming isn't one of them
woot. definitely picking this one up along with ratchet (if my wallet allows me) during thanksgiving. can't wait to play through it. not only does it look fantastic, but from what i hear, it plays fantastic as well.
does anyone know the model of the online mode? like is infinity ward hosting dedicated servers for the ps3 version or something?
i was going to put something to dig against a certain member that kept saying "facts" but i won't...
i love nintendo first party games. always worth it IMO. but sony has like what, 13 internal developers? once they hit their stride with ps3 i expect them to get back on top.
hahaha.. that picture is great. it basically screams, "i'm stoned right now"
this was technically a movie before it was a game.
oh wait, misread your post. sorry
team ico gamers is a respected blog that usually gets inside information from team ico. (i think)
but yeah, i loved both ico and shadow of the colossus. both were excellent in their own ways, but sotc was just so much more epic.
yeah, i'm surprised that blizzard hasn't shown up yet. they definitely deserve to be included in a 10 ten dev list. almost every game they've touched has been pure gold.
but its great to see konami make the list. (duh) now give me my ZOE3
so somehow you're saying the ps3 has sold -1 million units? cause 360 has sold 11 mil, and there are 12 months in a year (just in case you don't know), and 360 is about to hit its 2 year mark. and if ps3 sold a million a month for the next 12 months, it'd be on par with 360 after 2 years. but unfortunately for you, ps3 has sold close 6 million units already, which is on par, if not better than 360 sales.
personally, i'm hoping that this isn't just a bubble. it would be grea...
you realize that its better for broadcast (ie, the stations are using it for broadcast) because the bandwidth required to broadcast 1080p is something like 7mb/s or 9mb/s? current systems can't handle it.
1080p is for motion, 1080i is for stills, 720p is for people who can't afford 1080p
nah, because an idle pc still runs background processes, whereas the f@h client on ps3 is completely optimized to use as much of cell as possible.
@ poster below, its a testament of how much the ps3 can do when code is completely optimized for it from the ground up. because there are literally millions upon millions of possibilities during protein synthesis
