because the developers came out and said that almost all the trailer shown at that e3 was real time, and only a portion was CG.
and if you watch the trailer, you can clearly tell which part is in game and which part isn't. The close up that i'm talking about with the ridiculous hair is cg, but the part with her fighting the big monster isn't because you can see the hair took a step down and you can see the edge of the "monster" layer and the beginning of the backgrou...

its actually pretty much common consensus that for FFXIII, the only CG there was is the pic where her hair is ridiculously detailed and the part with Sheva. all else is in game
i won't use them as a wall paper though until they show us something new :-( why is square so hush hush about it? next time it comes up to breathe i expect it to look even better than these screens
but then theres the affordable 8800gt thats supposed to be 80% of the performance at 50-60% of the cost of the 8800gtx..

any persistent war game. 128 online battle, anyone can jump in and out. capture territory, resources, spawn points. with a map the size of rhode island...
you realize that if game retailers kept all the games that have been released on the wall, it would take up more store space than the average gamestop or eb has.

well, i'm guessing it still generates less heat because sony decided to take away several cooling vents. does the decreased voltage actually mean anything? aside from consuming less power, does it mean more optimized hardware or something like that?

i'm not a big fan of street racing in general. i wish it'd go back to the hot pursuit days where you had to outrun the law. that was fun. NFS2:HP was one of the most fun racers i've played.
holy crap! MechWarrior. this was THE game to play like a decade ago... (or maybe a little more recent.)
and since Crytek is making it, i have no doubt that 1. it'll look AMAZING, 2. it'll play well and 3. it'll be big budget and high profile.
