basically what the cell was designed to do but it fell short. and by short, i mean "unable to put textures onto established geometry." because thats the main purpose of the RSX, is to texture things. everything else is handled by cell. so they're almost getting there.

i've been using optical audio since i got my ps3 because my receiver doesn't support hdmi input. parents actually bought the receiver the same day i got my ps2 years ago.
but yeah, picture quality: phenomenal with hdmi
this list fails. ranking squeenix lower on the list than EA. i agree with the comment above that for every 1 hit they have, they have 10 games that fail terribly.
if by looks you mean like the way it physically looks then yes, it does look like katamari. but gameplay wise, it looks absolutely nothing like it... you're just bitter that theres a ps3 exclusive. doesn't matter how good it looks, or what it looks like it plays like, (because obviously, it doesn't look good in any of those catagories) you're just hating on the ps3

that trailer is amazing. stunning. and i was like, wtf, there's a STORY mode in UT? wow. thats shocking. and the story looked half decent. VA seems promising. Can't wait for the full game on my 60"
its technically the only console ccg.. but it looks amazing though. chances are i won't buy it because i won't really use the eyetoy and i don't have money to continually buy boosters for the decks.
hmmm, can't believe i didn't think of them. TIE Fighter was easily one of my favorite games back in the 90s. kudos to the editors for remembering them

the features involved doesn't sound like a 2.00 update. if anything, it'll be a 1.95. the leap to 2 should be something larger than remote on/off and custom themes

as mentioned by many of my previous responders, the difference between 1080p and 720p are very different. one has more than twice the number of pixels. and remember, 50" and up in order to see the difference.
and have you managed to somehow miss the articles from credible sites (ie, not this one) that say hdtvs are cheap enough for the every day person to afford now, and that sales of hdtvs should skyrocket this year during the holiday season?
