if you are a consumer with a brain, you already know this.
funny, their actions would seem to dictate otherwise...
bits have really nothing to do with anything anymore
way to go phil. with you saying it, that would actually mean it was a bad idea. since you seem to be constantly wrong.
sony seriously needs some execs with brains, and some PR people to tell them what to say.
funny phil, most people aren't buying one BECAUSE OF THE PRICE YOU MORON.
once again showing how sony execs have lost touch with their fanbase...
someone who didn't take what moore said and take it completely out of context.congratz conenant.
all moore meant is they have some things/games coming that will make the 360 more appealing to a broader/casual gamers audience, like nintendo has done. simple easy fun games.
he's not saying they will copy the nunchuck, and I hope they don't as that novelty seems to wear off pretty quick. I know 2 people that have already sold their wii's because they are sick of it....
must we keep seeing movie releases as news?
nothing to do with gaming or tech...
but the novelty would wear off quick.
lack of titles, obviously no care into their online network, no hardware upscaling, the list goes on about things sony could easily have done to make this a better gaming system, now they are removing the ps2 from it.
right now the ps3 is just a trojan horse that Sony rushed to the market to get a cheap bluray player into the household. They are desperate to win that format war, they are staking the whole company on it(shame that it won't matter even if they do win).
...
to answer the title of this article "who cares?"
the 100 million people who bought a ps2...
I doubt they will sell 1 million total for both games.
they blow...
article is junk. "no jagged edges". anyone who has played this demo knows otherwise.
don't get me wrong, it looks great, but based on what I read in that article, I think the last console this guy played is the N64.
that resident evil, prince of persia, tomb raider, dead or alive, and so many other average games are able to get a movie going, even though they are very likely to lose money, but halo, a GUARANTEED money maker doesn't.
stupid hollywood.
the 360 was the ONLY one out of the 3 consoles that actually improved in sales from last week. both the wii and ps3 dropped in number, the 30 actually went up.
I think MS is doing decent in japan, they have now learned the lesson that the japanese gamers buy on titles. their 2 biggest sales weeks were the week blue dragon came out, and the week lost planet came out.
if they keep putting out quality titles, people will buy.
sony is learning that lesson...
sony said they will be 100% backwards compatible, now they are not. to me, that's misleading customers/
hopefully they can manage to have the software ready for backwards compatibility by the time they release in Europe, I would not want to be around after pissing off my biggest customers for the 3rd time(more $$, late launch, now this...).
when you revise your console, aren't you supposed to make it better?
seems like europe gets the shaft again, why would they do that to their largest fanbase?
I work for a large company, and I understand that sometimes customer do fall through cracks in procedures and stuff like that. But at some point, someone in customer service should have seen the amount of exchanges on this account and forwarded it off or escalated it to make sure that everything was solved once and for all.
bought it 1 hr after the store opened, been hooked since.
I would love some multiplayer VS, some other vehicles would be awesom too:)
they try to point out winners, they forgot to mention the losers in the format war...the consumer.
sony develops games as well.
and the lack of kits, and lack of developer support are why all the game companies are having so many problems getting their games onto the ps3.
