it will have to fight with halo3...best of luck, but if anygame could do it, this one can.
but without online, I will be done with it in a few hours, and I'll be damned if i pay 50-70$ for a few hours of gameplay.
Oblivion was a phenominal game without online play, but the game easily could last 100 hours+, therefore worth the money.
playing against friends, online tournaments, etc gives the game longevity and makes it worthwhile.
and I will be very interested to see what happens with the 360 version, or if this was just the best excuse...
I think the review makes it worse than it really is, but as a whole from what i've seen I am not overly impressed with it.
I think it will get 5's and 6's from most places.
Technology changes too much now days, both the 360 and the ps3 will be out of date in 5, and pc's will be way better graphically probably much sooner than that.
to think the ps3 and blu-ray will still even be a fart in the wind technology wise 10 years from now is "last-gen" thinking.
will push it over 10 million, guaranteed.

EA has a lot of power in the gaming world, if they don't think the ps3 will do well, then they won't invest as much time in the games they make for it figuring it will just lose money anyway.
if they don't drop the price by xmas, well I don't know what will happen, but it can't be good.

I've been in touch with MS canada, and I know they are trying, I just want them to use some of that MS muscle to get it here sooner:)
I'm very impressed with the facial visuals, I hope more companies start using mo-cap with such detail.
looks like there is a bit more polish to do on the game play, but this is well on it's way to being the ps3's first great game.

not really, the whole experience from demos, video chat, messaging to my kid playing at while i'm at work, XBLA, the list goes on and on!
