some of it looked good, but it still has quite a bit of poilishing to go.

boink is an old hacking alias, and the mighty was in relation to the clan I used to play Age of empires with.
and even more with all the amazing titles coming this year, I may not see sunlight till next winter:)
the 360 and the ps3 are just too expensive for the casual gamer right now.
Price drops need to happen for both systems to really take off.

and why is nobody complaining that madden 07 looks nowhere as good as REAL next gen games for either system? cause EA didn't bother specifically making the game to the 360's advantages or the ps3's advantanges. they made it for the ps2, and ported it as cheaply as they could. LAME EA.
background downloading will not occur when you are doing something that uses the internet/live connection.
so games that feature drop/drop out co-op over live will stop the download when they load.
single player games that don't have this (call of duty, lost planet, saint's row, sports games) the download will occur while you are playing single player.
using media center will also cause downloading to stop as it uses the connection as well.
why can sony fanboys not admit that there is things wrong with the consoles, and not everybody likes it?

the point is buying a ps3 because it's the cheapest blu-ray player, is no longer a valid argument.
people who don't want a games console, won't buy it as they have a choice now. I think sony shot themselves in the foot with this one, although it was inevitable, blu-ray players will soon be cheaper then the ps3, which will cut into their market share.
