The way you define it is saying that a game for the ps2, and the PSP is not exclusive, because you can play it in other places, that's incorrect. It's on sony platforms therefore exclusive to sony. or a game for the DS and the gamecube means it's not exclusive. again, nintendo platforms, therefore exclusive to nintendo, ispo facto, MS platforms mean exclusive to MS. MS platforms are PC and 360.

it's just funny, would you have said the same thing if it wasn't posted by the mart?

must be why resistance won all the game of the year awards...oh wait, no it didn't.

I think that cg video in 2005 is turning out to be the biggest mistake sony has ever made.

I expected more, especially after hear the sony fans up here.

oh well, things to fix for motorstorm 2 i guess.

I can't take sony at their word anymore. They have become too much in the habit of overpromising, underdelivering lately.

until I hear them say "this will give PSN users a unified friends list" then it's not happening. people are assuming this will solve all of PSN's shortcomings, and yet I don't see it.

all they have done is create this cool virtual world for it, I don't see how this interacts or improves their multiplayer at all, other than an achivem...

you guys are hilarious. don't get me wrong, this is a very neat innovation, and I like it, but it will be interesting to see if it ends up being a novelty, or actually has some longevity to it.

but to think that adding mii's into a second-life setting makes the PSN anywhere near what XBL is, is one of the dumbest things I've heard.

I like it, but I wish sony would concentrate on all the other stuff they need to do first to make their online experience better, bef...

that was awesome.

they should have included the clip of the sony guy saying "this is actual in game"

I've read kotaku for ages, and they slam everyone equally when they screw up.

it's just sony has done so much screwing up lately, it's all people ususally get to see.

is nothing short of ignorance, and multiplayer is the tip of the iceberg.

sony and nintendo need to catch up, or get left in the dust.

if you people didn't think it was worth a whole 5$ a month (yeah I know, breaking the freaking bank there) then you missed the boat.

Stable connection, maintained dedicated, qualitied servers. interation between the console friends list and msn, online chat, video chat, in game video chat, video messaging, demos, songs, videos, HD tv, HD movies, unified friends list, talking to friends in other games, live in game chat, is it all perfect? no, and I'm not claiming it is. is it c...

more RPG's are needed.

I don't see this being all that popular.

don't get me wrong, 50$ a year is completely worth it for the service, but it's hard to get PC gamers to get it until they have actually tried it and enjoyed it.

hopefully MS gives out some free trials with games or with vista to let them experience it first.

they are open to changing it? after all the complaints from people who tried it and the industry professionals that trashed and said they wanted rumble before the ps3 was released you are now open to change?

what's next, they think online play "might" be catching on?

programming shouldn't be difficult, it should take time, and ingenuity, but developers should not have to rack their brain trying to figure out how to get the best, or even above par power out of the system.

the more time they spend on that, means less time spent working on the actual game, which means either sub-par games/lacking features(aka, online support), or pushed back release dates, both of which we have seen from ps3 titles already.

and don't forget the ...

to those who say there is no story to crackdown you have obviously not finished it. there is a huge storyline there which will easily lead to a crackdown which I cannot wait for, cleaning up pacific city is the beginning, though I do wish they had touched on the actual storyline a bit more during the game instead of dropping the ball at the end.

the actual scenario play was finished quickly, however the achievments and co-op over live fun extended that greatly.

I don't see why this was approved, but since it was, to answer the question in the title:

Yes, it is.
