but I don't think the people in any of the gameplay vids I've seen so far look very good.
scenery and background look great, but the characters look pretty bad IMO.
still will be a great game though.
most ps3 owners i know don't even know what home is...
nintendo will own japan, MS will own NA, and sony will own europe.

MS NEEDS a US price cut big time. the pro bundle should be about 250$ right now.
people are slowly recognizing that the 360 does have the games advantage, but sony has the playstation brand that will help them sell well, tacked on with a blu ray victory, they are catching up quickly. MS better get it's butt in gear if they don't want to be left behind.
oh and enough with the "stock availability" excuse...

the only drawback is the price tag, but I feel well worth it.

it's just simple math, say in 2011 MS and nintendo release their new consoles(which is quite likely) and at that point the wii has 100 million customers (these are the estimates from thesimexchange)ps3 has 60-70 million and 360 has 55-60 million.

I work for a large cable company and deal with HD inquiries all the time, asking about 1080i/p which is better, what the point, etc.
the most common response I get when I say do you have a bluray player hooked up is..."a what?"
and people I do talk to who know about refuse to spend the money on a player and the movies with it anyway. and the tech people/gamers who bought a ps3, have no interest in buying the movies as they are quite tech savy and enjoy ...
why this some customers story was approved I don't know...lame.
