As a Battlefield fan... I agree. There is a brass ring that EA can't grasp that is in Call of Duty's possession. They wanted to shoot for annual release with Hardline but knew they'd just kill the series in doing so.
CaptainZack and Lima were both nobodies on the competitive scene until Bayonetta was released. Zack has been badmouthing the audience throughout his EVO run for booing him, and they stalled during grand finals to piss off the remaining crowd until referees had to come out and force them to play-on.
Its a shame because the 1080 is all things considered a 4K card. Its either optimization or the fact the card is now beyond 2 years old and Nvidia has released absolutely nothing new to the market.
THANK YOU. I criticize OW for the same reason on r/Overwatch and i get fucking condemned to hell for pointing out blatant flaws with the game. Seriously the player base is half the reason i quit
Sony exclusives have shaped up to be some of the best games this entire generation. This is coming from a PC gamer too... kinda regret selling my PS4...
150k on the first week is bad for Metal Gear standards.
Still. The moment CEMU was able to boot BotW, money was rolling in quick to their Patreon.
The game has support for up to 8K
Its a joke, too. GDDR5X has double the bandwidth of GDDR5. Even overclocking GDDR5 won't bring it to the stock speed of GD5X.
Ahahaha. AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
It's been proven the Xbox One X's GPU is close to the RX 580 in spec. Which is in turn, close to the GTX 1060 6GB
If this is 100% DICE LA's work, then I believe it. DICE LA has done nothing but hear the Battlefield community and worked closely with us. Theyre one of my favorite studios because of it.
Definitely. It's unfortunate the Nintendo Switch is using a "last-gen" Tegra (Maxwell) considering how much of an improvement Pascal is in performance, but nonetheless, the Switch is a system that's more capable than the Wii U in terms of processing power, and the fact it's running on a mobile SoC is a feat. I was surprised in 2014 when Apple ran an Unreal Engine 4 demo to showcase their new Metal API for iOS, and was astonished with how fast mobile processors are catchi...
Doesn't include Move controllers
A bloated budget that has to compensate with lootboxes.
Its not just about that. Square Enix has spent years building Final Fantasy's name up on PC by slowly porting the entire library of FF games to Steam. But theyre just simple ports of the console versions with a possible graphic tweak like resolution or upped framerate cap.
Theyre advertising FFXV to be the Final Fantasy game meant for PC. Full graphics-setting customization. Nvidia Gameworks features. Support for up to 8K resolution. Mod support. This is the opposite of...
All of those retailers sell their keys through Steam's DRM. Steam is a platform on PC, and theyre essentially a monopoly in that sense. GoG and Humble Bundle are probably the runner-ups as respected competitors as they are also PC platforms but they're also DRM-free.

Ah yes, the man who literally vomita shit when he opens his mouth. This guy is nothing to worship. He is an analyst, he speaks in the name of industry shareholders. Most of his predictions, especially during 2013 when PS4/XBone were becoming hot, were wrong. PS4 Pro, as it stands, is not an attractive product, and in order to push it, would cut the price at E3 regardless. Scorpio wont be $400 because of the specs. It' going to use a more powerful GPU than the PS4Pro, more RAM, and its goi...
Kinguin offers Windows 10 for $30. Grey market? Yes. But Windows shouldnt be $100. Even then, SteamOS is a good linux alternative for a gaming rig's OS, even as a temporary because it's free but the library's limited. If SteamOS is opted, any controller/TV will work because SteamOS is essentially Steam Big Picture Mode.
As far as I know, Turing is on 12nm, which isnt much of a die-shrink from 16nm Pascal. And if Ray-tracing is the main focus of RTX 20-series, then those A.I. and Tensor cores would only be useful in ray-tracing.
Graphics performance will likely be peaked at 4K for awhile until ray-tracing is perfected.
