Doesn't even say what AMD APU it will have. Is it Raven Ridge, or is it Picasso? Will it be the highest-end APU, or will they bottom out to weasel out a few extra bucks for that stupidly high price tag?
Frostbite has always been hell to develop on. It's why Danger Close(now DICE LA) received developers from the Engine Team to work on Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The only people capable of using the engine are DICE Stockholm themselves. The results, while impressive as ever, are not worth forcing the rest of EA's developer suite to utilize the engine.
Only if multiplayer is part of it. As amazing as the single player campaign was, multiplayer just as valuable to the making the game whole (can't forget spec-ops as well)
Hopefully it's NOT Jason Todd and the man behind THAT mask can come across as a shock.

Graphs like this revealing exactly how much revenue Valve takes from distributing on Steam gave Epic a favorable reputation at first by offering a competitive environment for developers to prefer publishing their games on Epic over Steam. Then, Valve updated their revenue split by offering a lower margin depending on th...
He is also infamous to put financial interest over creative motivation. If Epic so much as offered a dime to have Borderlands 3 on the Epic Store exclusively, then he will do it.
Strange they made this update with DX12 when Windows 7 is going to be EOL next year
MGS is his literal child. When it was time to give it up though, Konami decided to euthanize it instead.
@jbull I think the series is due to a retelling via remakes using the FOX Engine.

The Xbox One X, by specification, has an OC'd AMD Jaguar processor from 2013. (Which equates to something around the AMD FX series in terms of performance, so let's go for an 8-series [$60]). 12GB of unified GDDR5 (but 4GB is reserved for OS, so lets add in 4GB of DDR3[$12]). A cheap compatible 970 motherboard can be found for ~$60. The 8GB RX 580 can be found for under $200 (the Xbox One X has a GPU that has 4 more CU...
MW3 is the omen for the series demise, and BO2 was the game that turned the genre backwards with the sci-fi setting. Something that's politically safe for the series and uninspiring.
So an actual portable Playstation. The Switch pretty much perfected the mobile console by making it a hybrid system. It's going to be difficult for Sony to be able to compete with that. It's doable IMO, but difficult.
Finally, a w̶e̶a̶p̶o̶n̶ game to surpass M̶e̶t̶a̶l̶ ̶G̶e̶a̶r̶ Brawl.
I see the major flaws within the narrative. The plot and lore is there, the mechanics are very refined for a cover shooter (Shadowfall had the best by far), but I understand why the franchise was never the Halo Killer it was touted to be.
I mean, Final Fantasy was named the way it is because it was Squaresoft's last attempt of avoiding bankruptcy
They're prefering quality over quantity in their first party. And that is greatly respectable. And the single player outings they made have been nothing short of a best seller or GOTY as of late.
If Sly Cooper: Thieves in time is anything to go by, it shows Sony will make a good choice of who can handle the franchise.
The Xbox 360 was shown to just be an oddity with Playstation's dominance in the market because of the PS3's bad launch PR and price. They made up for it wuth a better marketing campaign and some of the best exclusives of that generation.
The mid-tier has kinda fizzled out since THQ originally went under. Warner Bros. grew too big for its own good, Deep Silver was overly-ambitious with their dependency on Saints Row & Dead Island. THQ Nordic NEEDS to be that middle-ground between indie and the big AAA publishers.
CoD WW2 did everything wrong by attempting to censor itself for political correctness.
