I would prefer Bad Company 3 over BF5. The timespan between BF2 and BF3 was 7 years. I prefer BF5 in 2021 with spinoff games like Hardline and Bad Company in between that timespan than mainstream sequel after sequel. BF4 was an attempt for DICE to redeem the wrongs and expand themselves on what BF3 could have really been.
Being owned by Vivendi(Universal Interactive) until recently, Activision had the rights to make Crash and Spyro, and when they broke off, they kept those rights.
To be perfectly honest, with the introduction of internet to Russia, gaming has been rapidly growing in what was a culturally isolated nation. And Vladimir Putin is possibly taking a note from Poland in gaming becoming a major factor in the nation's culture.
However, I'm also a bit suspicious because the developers are Ukrainian based in Kiev (Civil War going on that Russia is provoking).
Should they do a thing. Like Dust 514/EVE Valkyrie where it's a cross-played universe on different platforms covering different genres?
Remember when they're stock plummitted earlier this year? They did a literal last minute announcement of 3rd gen remakes and everyone lost their shit. E3 2013, Smash 4, everyone lost their shit. Nintendo still has over $10 billion banked and can survive on a $250 million loss for 40 years. Nintendo is here to stay, and they're the biggest fuck-you to the PC Master Race and their retarded investors because no matter what happens, Nintendo is here and has the power to do whatever they w...
Frickin Activision is doing nothing with the license. If they can't make money off of golden titles like Crash and Spyro, nobody can.
Getting it on PC. Was considering PS4, but I have a new rig, soooo. And rank transfer works from 7th-gen to 8th/PC.
Get it... or suffer a lifetime without the remake of the best generation of Pokemon.
Well, I wouldn't say this is too much of a case for Gran Turismo 6 vs. Forza 5. Forza 5 may be a Xbox One game, but it's a launch game so it's graphics will still be on comparable GT6. Here's how I see it.
Hardware constraints that plagued the PS3 like lighting, fog, and motion blur are visible in the GT6 screens. Especially when seen next to Forza 5 where you see shiny paint-jobs and rubber burning on asphalt. But despite all that, Gran Turismo holds a lot mo...
Strip the wire and replace the plug with a USB plug.
It was just simple fighting. But the real war ignited over Watch Dogs' Nvidia exclusivity on PC (which is suspicious to say the least because the game is fully optimized for AMD-built 8th gen consoles). AMD claims that Nvidia is looking to completely divide the PC gaming market. Hardware incompatibility is what originally caused a decline in PC gaming, and what can turn into a console-war scenario can damage PC gaming again.
I'm not taking AMD's side on this. They're d...
There's more variety for people in the PC gaming world. For budget yet powerhouse systems that will last as long as you need them, AMD is a good choice for both CPU and GPU. For quality over-time, an Nvidia/Intel machine is best. I went with an AMD for my machine though, because the only Nvidia card in my budget was a 660, and that's going obsolete soon. I chose an AMD R9 280 instead. As for Intel, their price is bloated, personally.
I also own a PS4 :3
@guitarded Haven't you seen the E3 2014 Preview? They are still in the early concept stages...
The PS2 Slim came out in 2004, 4 years after its 2000 release. The PS3 Slim came out in 2009, 3 years after the 2006 launch. The Super Slim came out in 2012. The PSone came out on the same year as the PS2's launch day to keep the console fresh. This is all through business perspective of how Sony thinks the console will do. Chances are, we are looking at 2016-2018 depending on how they can keep the console selling. Patents show that it may include faster wifi adapter and better background...
Well the reasoning behind it really is that EA wants it to release around Ep.VII's opening day so more buzz is stirred for the game. Really, it's Harrison Ford's injury that would've delayed Battlefront.
I thought he was working on an arena shooter.
@Opie between Bayonetta, Korra, and Scalebound, Platinum has a lot of ground to cover as an independent studio. My only wish is to not spread themselves thin like Crytek.
@Andrew those are Sony Online Entertainment titles, like I just explained... Tell me one title from Sony COMPUTER Entertainment, then we can talk.
Here's the problem with how Sony and Microsoft work.
Sony Computer Entertainment does not normally co-operate with Sony Online Entertainment because SOE's primary job is publishing/developing PC titles like Payday 1, DC Universe, and Planetside. If they make a Playstation port, so be it. More money made from them. SCE, historically, has and NEVER will make a PC port so they can keep their AAA GOTY-worthy titles on their own platform to make more money.

Activision is a joint-company with Blizzard. We will have to selectively demolish the half that has to do with keeping Crash from the world and that approves of the retexture and rehashing of Call of Duty and Skylanders.
