The headlines detail it as an "alternate history" world war 1. Assuming that means a wider mish-mash of technology that was brought earlier and later into the war. (Zeppelins, airplanes, tanks and SMG's came very late-on in the war)
Also I would assume United States involvement in this "alternate history" would come earlier on and that there would be some focus on the war in China (Japan invaded German-occupied areas in China and Indonesia)
Here's my answer to the solution. They know people are more hyped for CoD4 than Infinite Warfare. Don't buy into it. Let the new CoD flop. That way, they have no choice but to release CoD4 remaster as a standalone further down, and show Activision and Infinity Ward we are having none of their crap
Younger generation = the 12 year olds who still manage to get their hands on this crap
I mean Infinite Warfare could be them unfreezing Captain Price from a cryogenic freezer (possibly made of igloo coolers filled with mountain dew) in the year 3030 to fight space invaders who have allied themselves with America's enemies.
t was a GBA, GBA SP all clipped together with a modified SNES controller for the GBA port. That's probably the most impromptu devkits I've ever seen.
One of those Xbone controllers apparently had Illumiroom tech built in. If that's not whacky enough, look at all of the design concepts for the Steam Controller. Valve was really forcing the idea of a controller made FOR PC games.
I don't understand the amount of dislikes from anti-backwards-compatibility. I understand that the feature, on paper, is good for transition between console generations, but as more technologically-advanced games are released for a new system, the feature is lackluster for the long-term. Microsoft is playing smart by giving constant word of "what games will be B/C next" and use the feature FOR marketing to appease the low-percentage user base of gamers who MIGHT use B/C.

Moderators for CoD games normally abandon the game after their studio's sequel is released. And try to argue otherwise, but game consoles are still computers that can be hacked and programmed to do whatever.
Japanese games never do well on Xbox. Even Dead Rising is never considered a system seller. PlayStation has always been considered the system for Japanese games. Even for the west.
While I can agree with Titanfall being on the list, I don't like their explanation for why it "fell short." Titanfall was highly regarded at launch and really was a great multiplayer game. I never really cared about it having a single player(Great games like Battlefield before Bad Company never had single player). The game was really fun and it DID do really well sales-wise for an early-adoption game on Xbone. (2.85 million Xbone copies not counting hardware bundles, 1.36m X360,...
Lies. If that was an Ubisoft office, there would be more underpaid devs working harsher hours (and possibly growing weed)
Agreed. Sony should know how free market works yet they're choosing PS Now over consumer choice
Gen 1: Gengar
Gen 2: Azumarill
Gen 3: Aggron
Gen 5: HA! (i skipped Gen 5 because the pokemon all looked like trash[GARBADOR])
Gen 6: Greninja
A last of us sequel is something I honestly don't want to see. I understand how the ending went but I don't think it's one they should really continue on.
Honestly I would wonder if they would reboot Jak and Daxter. They said one issue with trying to make Jak 4 is that Jak's character always underwent so much change after every game to a point where he's almost a different character each game. They didn't know how to portray him next. That's why t...
The game is already Windows 10 exclusive by using DirectX12 because the API is made exclusive to Windows 10. The game is being used as a push for the PC demographic to convert to Windows 10, which Microsoft is trying to make appeal to PC gamers.
I'm keeping my 970 for a long-term for as long my PC can run games at quality (my FX8350 is barely making recommended for higher fidelity games)
The PC version has been fiddling with high tickrate servers for awhile now. Also Venice Unleashed has opened BF3 servers to higher tickrates. Basically the PC version of Battlefield is the way to go.
Bullshit. Halo 2's multiplayer was still strong back on the original Xbox to the point where one person kept his Xbox logged in for months after XBL shut down their servers in 2010 so he would be able to still keep hosting matches.
The issue isn't that "games like destiny" have forced multiplayer. Battlefield was one of the biggest shooters on PC and it never even had a single player until Bad Company. BF2 is still regarded by BF fans as the best iteration of Battlefield and the BF4 community praises DICE LA for changes to try to make the game a little more like BF2.
However, the issue with multiplayer games stem from a lack of content. Destiny had a fleshed out lore and story ready for th...
@DARKKENT The issue with Microsoft right now is who they have under their belt as far as first-party IP's. The 360 had a decent amount of AAA outings from their internal studios (Halo 3, Forza 4, Fable 3). Big titles, but compared to the PS3's first party releases (Uncharted, God of War, Infamous, Gran Turismo, MotorStorm, Killzone 2), Sony managed a saturation of big-name exclusives last-gen along with big-name exclusives from second and third-party studios(Resistance, Ratchet and Cl...
