TL;DR Square Enix needs to get their shit together with their internal staff
It's the idea of having to be connected to a server in order to play a game. These are general complaints about how the Xbox One was going to implement a Steam-like DRM and anti-piracy.
The game is still indie-developed but at this point it's EA's responsibility to market and distribute the game. Marketing includes securing the name.
$30/12= $2.50/month for EA's Vault and a 10% flat store discount.
The fact that the PS4's VRAM is unified with its RAM in the form of GDDR5 means nothing for optimization for ports. It means that the PS4 is easier to manufscture. The fact the PS4 uses a modified OpenGL API can be the starting issue but again it's part of the optimization process.
The concerning fact is that different people use different kinds of PC hardware. COD's PC community has been using low budget hardware to play the game. This was found out after Ghosts&...
Given how EA poorly marketed the series, especially the 3rd game, I doubt it
Those will take awhile. They managed to get the 360 emulator running but the PS3 emulator may need more time given the differences between CELL and x86 architects.
That.... Might seem like the most efficient way to game honestly.
AAA Companies fear the idea of "DRM-free" PC gaming. The biggest name games on GOG that isn't from CD Projekt Red is Elder Scrolls 3 and Fallouts 1-Tactics.
Are none of us concerning the fact that Crysis is being used as the title picture, a game trilogy that ended 3 years ago?
Even with inflation adjustment $90 is $145 with today's money.
I generally don't complain about $60 pricing on a game I feel is worth it (MGSV is the first in awhile for me for that feeling). I feel a game should be worth what you're purchasing. I remembered Sony lowered the launch price of Sly 4 to make first-day purchases seem more attractive, and I enjoyed that game too.
Not only that but he also clearly declared the Xbox One "the winner" of 8th gen. Everything that comes out of Pachter's mouth is nothing but bullcrap.
>Says this is the last generation of home consoles
- Nintendo codename NX announced as WiiU successor
>Says Xbox One would "win" 8th gen
- PS4 sales are 2:1 against Xbone
>Previously declared 7th gen "The last gen"
- Look wher...
1942** and good luck finding a copy
Since everyone in the studio quit after MW2**
Screw you, Kojima is the only deity I worship
The home console might cluster with the handheld for extra power
Don't forget the PC re-release
@Neonridr It wasn't just that. Sony was part of a team with IBM and Toshiba that developed the CELL CPU as a future for microprocessing, with Sony being the largest investor(Sony was also the largest investor of the Blu-Ray Group).
It's questionable whether or not the investment in Blu-Ray was successful given how movies and games are moving towards downloading/streaming as the price of players and discs have NOW become reasonable.
As for CELL, the b...
AMD has always fell short with Driver updates and card optimization with their cards. My XFX 280 stuttered with every game I played. I bought a 970 when it came out because it was so shit.
The issue is how Nintendo is handling piracy with their eShop. Effective at making sure you don't digitally share the games you buy, but at the same time in the event of hardware failure you're out hundreds of dollars.
I remember seeing how Sakurai(Smash, Kirby)'s PS3 YLOD a few years ago and it had all of his PSone,PS2, and PS3 data on it (20 years-worth of gaming) b/c memory card-to-USB adapters allowed save transfers to launch PS3's HDD's.
