haha Good one. It's true, though. Many people care more about sales than the actual games. I care about consoles that actually have tons of exclusive GAMES coming out this year, or should I say console (singular). YOu be the judge of which console is leading in GAMES!

Yeah, they really shouldn't charge you for recovering a gamertag. lol If anything, it should be like 100 MS points (or $1.25), something cheap, not 800 MS points ($10). That's money-grabbing, if you ask me.

Well, the Xbox 360 has had quite a few, actually. Just not as many as the PS3 has now. The tables have turned, and people are realizing where the most hardcore games are nowadays.

Yes. That! I want a GTA 5 more akin to the PS2 GTA's, more specifically, San Andreas, that were actually fun to play! The driving physics of GTA 4 put me off, personally. Also, the game itself offered less variety of gameplay compared to the older PS2 GTAs, where you had more diverse locations (mountains, deserts, etc.) and you could drive more diverse vehicles (jets, helicopters, jetpacks, parachutes, etc.). I fully expect the PS4 to go the route of the NGP (PSP2) and offer a much easier to develop for platform. Of course, they may just make an improved Cell architecture with higher RAM and more processing power (more SPU's, maybe 32??). This would allow for the PS4 to be fully backward compatible with the PS3. And, by then, they may have a fully working software emulator for playing PS2 games on the PS4. lol

Even thought the 360 is "off" while downloading, it's still probably using almost the same amount of power as "on". lol
So that's no excuse for not trying out Modnation Racers. It's a really fun game, man. I bought it. It's Mario Kart on steroids, basically. It has loads of customization and you can create new karts, tracks, and mods (characters), and upload them all to the server for others to download.

They've given us hundreds of dollars (if not maybe a $1000) worth of content already. It's just a no-brainer if games is what you bought your console for instead of features. lol (Not that the PS3 is lacking in features anyway, though.)

Buttons and touchscreen AND REAR TOUCHPAD (and gyroscope and accelerometer) together for the win. lol The NGP has all that! The NGP will be the most robust, capable portable gaming platform and will appeal to the hardest of hardcore gamers down to the most casual of casual gamers.
Yes, but the PS2 came out like 3 or 4 years before the Xbox, and was able to keep up with it. The 360 only came out one year before the PS3. The 360 is lacking quite a bit more compared to the PS3 than the PS2 was lacking compared to the original Xbox.
...since there's liable to be a lot of negative press regarding the 3DS causing detrimental effects from the 3D mode. Still, I may get the 3DS when it drops to $150 later on. The only game I'd be interested in would be Metal Gear Solid and some Mario games maybe.
And yeah, proximity to the screen is definitely a key factor as to how bad 3D is for your eyes. Looking at a big 3D HDTV is not as bad as straining your eyes on a small less than 4" screen.
I'm loving the single player campaign right now. Later on, after I'm done with SP, I'll hop onto the great multiplayer, but I'm not gonna be on that too much. This definitely is a good deal. My only beef is, do they not think the phone has enough appeal to sell itself on its own merit? You don't see Apple giving away free Apps with an iPhone purchase. Similarly, you don't see Sony giving away free PS3 games to get you to buy their Xperia Play phone. It's a cool deal, but I feel it's just a way for MS to buy itself market share instead of building a device that's intrinsically appealing enough to the market to sell on its ow...
The thing is, that casual crowd may or may not want to spend $300 minimum for a 360 with Kinect when they can get a Wii for $150. So, while I'm not disagreeing with you, it's really hard to tell. A casual person is going to go off from price first and foremost and the Wii is the cheap casual solution and will probably drop to $99 this year.

Yeah, it's a good game, man. It does have co-op, but only local co-op, not online, sadly. :( Maybe they'll patch that in, or, more likely, we'll see it in the next installment.
Yeah, the marketing could've been better State-side, but the game seems to be selling great on its own, from word of mouth and reviews.
