I loved InFamous 1, so InFamous 2 is a no-brainer, day-one purchase. I can't wait for it! The PS3 is breaking my wallet this year. I think I'd need like $600 to buy all the PS3 exclusive games that I WANT to buy, but sadly I can't afford them all. Plus, there's some multiplats that I'd like to have, but most of those will be skipped to get more PS3 exclusives. However, I'm DEFINITELY buying Battlefield 3!!!

I rented Bulletstorm. Don't waste your money on it. Buy Gears but not Bulletstorm. Gears 3 looks good. Definitely an improvement over 1 and 2.

And I agree that it's much better than them playing CoD games or other violent games. However, I'm not sure how many parents are going to buy them a $200 game. lol (kinect-$150 + game-$50 = $200) Of course, kids ARE spoiled alot nowadays. And Rock Band costs over $120 and people eat that up, so who knows, this could sell great.
This isn't hardcore. It looks more like a XBL arcade title than a full-fledged game. I just can't honestly see myself putting my hands up as guns and pointing at the screen like a gun. It just looks ridiculous. haha I wouldn't even want to do that if this game were on the PS Eye (PS3). I think MS is going to come out with some sort of motion controller to go hand in hand with the Kinect. Maybe not, but it makes sense.

Wow! 5 Player Co-op??!! Man, you don't see any games doing that! I've seen 4 player, but not 5 player yet. Socom 4 looks like it's going to make up for Confrontation being kinda so-so. Socom 4 is one of many (around 15 or more) exclusives coming for PS3 in 2011. I can't even buy them all. That's pretty impressive.
Exactly what I was gonna say. This is getting ridiculous. DLC is a good concept IF and ONLY IF it's made AFER THE GAME IS MADE. I don't want devs. to just "conveniently" leave out certain parts that are then sold later on as dlc. That's bullshit! My opinion is that games are expensive as hell to begin with. Only on PlayStation tells consumers that its exclusives are only on PlayStation, not on the 360 or PC, but just the PS3. It's a good tagline and informative to less-informed consumers.
Now, all they need to put on their commercials is "Free Online Multiplayer" and they will sell even more.

Well, there's a reason why in FF 13, you couldn't do any major exploring until the last disc. They didn't want people to have to keep swapping discs every time they explored to a certain place on the map, so they limited where you could explore. Also, it costs publishers more to publish multiple discs on the 360, which is why they try to keep it to one disc whenever possible, or two at the max, so 4 discs for a 360 FF game would never happen anyway.
I just went a bought it from my local WalMart. Very impressive visuals and the controls are every Call of Duty fan's wet dream. Look if Versus 13 goes multiplatform, that's fine, but please make sure it has towns, open world maps for exploring, side quests, airships, shops in those towns to buy stuff, card games (please bring back Triple Triad from FF 8 Please!!! lol). All that stuff was what made Final Fantasy so addicting and so long of a game and such a great experience.
Of course, I'd rather it stay exclusive so it can have as much content as possible via the bluray disc.

I will say, if MS really did this, it will be one of the biggest controversies in gaming ever. haha One console maker helping a hacker win a case against a different console maker. Just wow. And you end up spending a hell of alot more money than we would if we bought both the PS3 AND 360. lol PC gaming is expensive, buddy, and is not worth it to most gamers.
