Well, seeing as retailers need stock to sell to the consumers, that's a moot point. lol What's the most consoles you've seen your local WalMart keep on hand? Maybe 10 at the most. Do you really think all these stores are buying up consoles and have hundreds of them in a back room somewhere stacked up? LOL People are obviously buying the consoles if the retailers are buying them from Sony. Use your head, man.

Yeah, there's no telling what kind of sales Sony will see if they drop the price to $200 at E3 2011. That, plus tons of first party exclusives, plus reliable hardware, plus an awesome 3D-ready bluray player, Netflix streaming, Vudu streaming, viable media hub capabilities, third party accessories compatible (keyboards, harddrives, etc.), free online gaming, standard hdmi 1.3, etc. etc. will guarantee another banner year for the PS3 in 2011 and beyond.

$200 is that beau...

I enjoyed both, but I'm only getting InFamous 2 because of the two original games, Infamous had the better story, and I enjoyed the Karma system from InFamous. Prototype is really enjoyable to just go around and destroy everything, but it gets old kinda fast. However, I do like Prototype's faster movement throughout the city, where you slide alongside the buildings.

Well, I was gonna reply to you a long well-thought out reply until I saw you say "the PS3 will die next year." LMAO @ that comment. None of the consoles are going to "die" anytime soon. However, the trend seems to be that the console that releases first does seem to have the advantage when starting a new console generation. I personally hope if Nintendo DOES end up releasing a new console next year, the PS4 and Xbox 720 (whatever it's called) will release the foll...

Yes, Backward Compatibility would be nice to have, but sadly it's gone. And this is Sony's way of letting us play these older PS2 games on our PS3's. These games were upgraded to HD and were very well done.

lol If THIS is true, then the Wii 2 is going to have one hell of a launch. However, the likelihood of this being true is probably not that high. Nintendo could get one hell of a jump start on the other two console makers if they released their next console with a game of the caliber of a GTA title.

@Infernostew If GTA 5 was exclusive to the Wii 2 (or whatever it's gonna be called), then quite a few people would get the Wii 2. However, I highly doubt they'll ma...

Not graphically. Perhaps gameplay-wise with the Wiimote?? Even then, I doubt it. I'd rather have it on 360 or PS3 than on the Wii, myself.

Thanks, man. I can't wait for U3! Great single player AND great multiplayer. Not one or the other like some other games.

Sprinting is a welcome addition, as long as the speed isn't too fast. And as long as there's no ridiculous 10 foot knife kill like in MW2, I'll be happy with the multiplayer. The gameplay video of UC3 multiplayer looked amazing. lol

MAN!! Naughty Dog was NOT kidding when they said that Uncharted 3 was going to be the go-to game for online multiplayer on PS3. The customization looked amazing and nearly limitless! The graphics have been improved. That’s one thing that’s awesome is being able to have awesome graphics even in online with PS3 exclusives. Both Killzone 3 and Uncharted 2 are examples of that, with great graphics even when playing online. Plus, I liked how you’re playing on moving set pieces when playing ONLINE!...

f it launches any higher than the PS3 (higher than $300), then Nintendo is shooting themselves in the feet. People will just go with a PS3 or a 360. lol Both of those systems have large, expansive, and well-established libraries of known franchises. People won’t want to buy another Nintendo console just to play Mario, Donkey Kong, etc. in High Definition.

One saving grace for Nintendo might be if they include a bluray drive in their system.

Either way, this n...

Umm the PS3 does both. lol Bluray (and other video services) for entertainment and TONS of exclusives and multiplats for gaming. So what's your point?

He did before he edited it. lol But you knew that didn't you? You're awesome. It's in your name.

Graphically as good as PS3? That's a bit of a stretch, don't ya think. What resolution does that thing run at again?

I think one problem with the 3DS is that they didn't change the name enough for people to realize it's an entirely NEW generation of handheld. Most people probably think it's just a DS that has a 3D screen. Of course, I realize that's not the case, but uninformed people and moms wouldn't necessarily know the difference.

These guys definitely know how to go above and beyond and impress even the most seasoned of gamer. I can't wait for the third installment in one of the best game franchises in years. Naughty Dog is officially my favorite dev. in the industry. Keep up the good work! U3 for GotY 2011 on Spike VGA Awards!!

I can't wait for this game!! The other games in the series' past were awesome and I expect nothing less from this one. The online looks to be very fun! Day one.

Well, Uncharted 3 might not be enough for some people to buy a 3DTV but that combined with Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 3, Crysis 2, and Socom 4, etc. all in 3D, should be a compelling reason to purchase one. I wish I could afford a 3DTV myself, but alas, I just bought 52" LED TV. Maybe in a couple years, I'll be able to get me a 3DTV.

3D games are not going to be some quick fad or cash-in. It will likely become a standard for all games next gen., on both the PS4...

I agree. PS+ was definitely worth it to me. I have gotten hundreds of dollars worth of games for that initial $50 for the 15 month subscription. Just in the last couple of months I've gotten two of my favorite all-time games for FREE: Sonic 1 and Sonic 2, from the Sega Genesis. I'm in gaming heaven when playing those games. Plus, they have save-state saving so you can save at any time, like when playing games via emulation. Also, for those who didn't know, there is an onli...

I hope the PS4 and next Xbox come out around 2013 or so, to give us time to save up. I also hope they both come out at the same time. Would make things much more interesting. haha I had better start saving now, because I'm sure the next systems will be around $400-500 easily. I can't wait to see Uncharted 4, Killzone 4, Gran Turismo 6, etc. etc. The next systems will likely do ray-tracing as well, which should increase graphical fidelity my a rather large margin.

Can't wait to play Portal 2 with PC players. I hope more games in the future implement cross platform multiplayer gaming. Come on Valve, bring a full Steam client to the XMB so we can choose to buy our games digitally with all Steam features intact, on our PS3 if we want to. :) Please!
