I will say a prayer for you right after I mark you for trolling. lol
Just a thought, why can't people eventually reach ZERO bubbles?? That sure would solve alot of problems on here. Anyone?
But people don't buy their console for games anymore, remember. They want cross game chat and expensive proprietary peripherals. /s lol
But yes, people like you and me could care less about this PSN debacle. It'll be over soon and we'll be playing games, you know those things we bought our console for. haha
The good thing about PS3 exclusives also, is the fact that they can ONLY be played on the PS3, as in not on the PC. Sony's first p...
I hope the controller isn't ridiculously expensive. lol With a rumored touchscreen on the thing, it would almost have to be around $80 minimum for just one controller. (Unless it's a super low resolution screen)
I hope they learn from Sony's mistakes and realize that people don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a console. Price will be key to its success, considering the Wii was bought mostly by soccer moms and the like, who bought it mostly due to its...
I'm getting Motorstorm: Apocalypse. I just bought Portal 2 today. I can't wait for InFamous 2 next month as well.
Once all this is over with here in a week or so (I'm guessing there, btw), everyone will forget all about this and enjoy the vast variety of exclusives that the PS3 offers. In the end, we'll have a more secure network as well as the best exclusives in the industry. Sony won't let this debacle get them down. They "get knocked down, but they get up again. You're never gonna keep 'em down." haha (great song. Chumbawamba-I Get Knocked Down)
They're different series, essentially. From what I understand, Battlefield is a lot more complex than the Bad Company series. I've only played Bad Comapany 2 out of all the games, but I'll be getting Battlefield 3 this year. Can't wait!
If it's as powerful as it's rumored to be, then why would EA not develop it for the Wii 2 too? It would be smart business-wise. Is this new Nintendo console gonna finally start getting these awesome third party titles that it missed out on with the original Wii? If so, then that's a huge win for Nintendo. :)
I'm about to go buy this in a second. *Heading to WalMart right now!*
I rented it a couple days ago and loved it!
Yeah, I guess some people would rather hate on Sony for something that's a bit overblown, than enjoy all the awesome exclusives that are provided for them on the PS3. I enjoy games myself, and there's plenty of games to play offline. The PS3 community realizes that online gaming isn't the "end all be all" of gaming and there's lots of variety in the exclusives for that platform. You can go from God of War 3, to GT5, to LittleBigPlanet, to The Last Guardian, to ...
I never got to play the first Portal game back in the day. But I rented Portal 2 on PS3 a couple days ago, and I fell in love with it quickly, after trying to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do. haha It took me about 5 minutes to get used to going in the blue portal and out the orange one.
Awesome game and very refreshing to play among all these shooters nowadays. Thank you Valve and Gabe Newell for releasing it on PS3, especially with Steam support. Ver...
I'll add you on PSN if that's cool with you. I usually play Battlefield BC2, GT5, and I'm about to buy Portal 2 soon, maybe even today. I rented Portal 2 and I freakin loved it!! Such a nice change of pace from the same old shooter games that everyone plays, including myself. :)
I hope Sony is able to make some sort of deal with Skype to get a Skype client for the PSN on the XMB, so that Cross Game Chat can be implemented that way. If Skype was able to be used anytime we wanted, that would trump Cross Game Chat easily. Because, then, PSN users could make REAL calls to anyone on their computers or TVs or other PS3s via Skype. That would be sick! If they did this, and let every PSN user have access to it for free (obviously you'd have to pay for Skype separa...
I love my PS3 still because, even with its few problems (i.e., PSN), it's still the most reliable of the two most powerful consoles, has the most features BUILT-IN (not peripherals), has free online, has a bluray drive, has the most exclusives coming for it, offer the most variety of genres within those exclusives, and doesn't force us to use proprietary harddrives and wifi adapters.
But the most important reason to own any console is its exclusive GAMES. Because GAM...
I'm one of those people who say that I won't and I REALLY WON'T. lol I'm not wasting my money on that same re-hashed crap year after year. Call of Duty needs innovation (and destructibility haha).
Battlefield BC2 is a better game hands down. And after that, I'd choose Killzone 3. And after that Resistance 2 (and 3). And many more games over Call of Duty.
After Call of Duty 4, the games have went downhill. I used to love CoD4 ...
I used to play the hell out of the Oddworld games back on the PS1. :) Awesome games. I'll enjoy these HD remakes and the new one as well!
Warhawk is, still to this day, one of the top 5 online multiplayer games on PS3. The gameplay was just so fun. One minute, you're on the ground and the next you're in the air dogging it out with jets. I can't wait to see what Starhawk brings us. I seriously hope it'll be where you can fight on Earth but then fly up into the atmosphere into Space. Aww!!! That would be awesome!!! Then they could bring downloadable content where they could let us visit other planets an...
Hopefully we see several exclusives. We can't go another year like 2011. I can't wait to see that Kingdoms game. I hope they show some gameplay of that and several other unannounced exclusives.
It's also likely that they'll show off some exclusive Call of Duty dlc for the next CoD game.
They need to respond with something professional and mature. Don't try to be sarcastic or throw insults at them. I think they should be respectful as the same thing could happen to them as has happened to Sony.
Truthfully, it won't really matter what they say. Some people will get mad no matter what they say, and most people will not care what they say.
What we all need to learn about this situation is that our personal information needs to be p...
Ya know, YOU are the one who chose to click on the article. haha Just sayin, man. I just hate it when people say that. I'm like ,"Well, you shouldn't have clicked on it and read it." haha
I just bought Portal 2 and, while it isn't super long, I felt the $60 was very worth it for the quality of the gameplay experience (and because, when PSN gets back up, I'll be able to play with Steam players. :)
