lol You're trolling like every post. Are you actively trying to get down to one bubble??
Yeah, honestly, if they're going to be allowing online multiplayer through the 3G (not just buying games or browsing the store/apps), I'd rather see a 4G/LTE antenna put into the PSP2, so the speeds are reliable.
Of course, that would jack up the price even higher.
Still, I'm glad Activision is bringing Call of Duty for the PSP2. Imagine people playing online CoD just sitting at places like WalMart or something and yelling through the built-in mi...
I hope Sony allows us to buy 3G a month at a time or a year at a time (similar to how you buy 3G on an iPad). 1 or 2 year subscriptions would be a huge turn off to potential buyers. It's nice to know you can just buy a month's worth of 3G and then the next month if you can't afford it, you just don't buy it.
I'm probably going to get the non-3G version anyway, though, because I'm not gonna want to spend the extra money on it. I'm not usually p...
lol I think it'll come out on November the "when hell freezes over" of 2011. haha
Anyway, this app looks neat. I can't wait for Uncharted 3. The last two games looked and played great. Some people complain about its linearity, but it's linear because it plays out more like an interactive movie than a video game.
Also, the online component looks to have made great strides in this third installment compared to the online in Unchart...
Tomba was awesome!! I never had the game, but I played the hell out of the demo on some demo disc I had back on the PS1. I remember playing the demo over and over again. So much fun! A Tomba reboot would be great!
Agree on a "little bit of this, little bit of that." haha
I also want the NGP (PSP2) so badly. It's going to be such a huge step up from the original PSP. So many features and games it won't even be funny. Sony, make the thing $300 or less and you've got a winner...and a day one buy from me. (Any higher and I'm waiting for a price cut.)
@coryok
Ummm, as much as I'd love to think they'd throw in the 3G service ...
I wouldn't mind seeing Move support for Call of Duty MW3 announced at E3 2011. Move support would be HUGE for that game. It would get alot of people to pick up a Move controller (or two) and a Navigation controller. It would also show how Move is the most versatile of the three existing console motion controllers.
But, I agree also that more good Move exclusive games would be nice. I can't wait for Sorcery! It looked so cool last year at E3. The way the Move...
Man, I remember that movie too. I feel old as hell now.
Ok, man. I'll let you know if I buy it.
Battlefield 3 will hopefully make Activision get off their butt and do something innovative, like destructibility and bullet drop. Oh, and while you're at it, Activision, UPDATE your freakin game engine! We're seeing games like Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, and Gears 3 push boundaries in graphics and CoD still looks the same as the beginning of this generation. Graphics aren't everything, but come on. Don't be lazy, Activision. Use all that money you're making from dlc a...
I might go out and buy Warhawk to prepare for Starhawk. And I'm PS+ so I can get the free dlc for Warhawk too. :)
Forza 3 was definitely fun. Forza and GT are fundamentally different games. GT5 is better for the actual racing (what you bought the game for), while Forza is better at customization. I'm curious now whether Gran Turismo 6 will appear on the PS3 or PS4. I hope they make it a launch PS4 title. A GT title at launch would help the PS4 immensely.
Can't wait to try out Forza 4!
Yeah, but the iPhone is sort of competition for handheld gaming devices like the 3DS and PSP2, indirectly at least. I don't care though because I'm gonna be buying a PSP2 so I can play REAL games, not crappy cell phone games (though admittedly cell phone games are getting a little better).
Yeah, with all the things people are doing with LBP2 on PS3, imagine LBP 3 or 4 on the PS4. Imagine what all people will be able to do. They'll be able to make better First Person Shooters than Call of Duty (or even recreate a CoD game) on a LBP game.
If this level isn't an excuse to go out and buy LBP2, then I don't know what is. Just awesome!
Yeah, we'll get them eventually, and we'll be enjoying some sweet EXCLUSIVES during that time. lol I sure am glad Sony spends its money on first party studios instead of CoD dlc. I used to LOVE Call of Duty but now the series has just stagnated.
Still, I hope they give a release date for the dlc so those PS3 owners with Black Ops can enjoy the dlc too. I'm just not personally interested.
@aceitman
Yeah, I love Bad Company 2. A mil...
It would awesome if MW3 was cross platform between the PS3 and PSP2! I'm pretty sure it could be the exact same game. The PSP2 is powerful enough. I'm definitely buying the PSP2...unless of course it costs more than $300. Then I'm gonna wait for a price drop.
Wow. lol I-Dong?? For real? That's not suggestive or anything. haha
To answer the question posed. NO, it will not challenge the PS3 and Xbox. They are way superior to this rip-off Chinese-made device.
Well, I quite enjoy playing my free Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 (from the Genesis) that I got for free with PS+. I can't believe you don't like playing older games. Some of them were better than some games today.
What people could do is if they already own LBP and/or InFamous on disc, they could get those from this deal and sell or trade in their disc versions to buy something else.
I'm gonna get InFamous for sure and either Dead Nation or LBP. Not sure yet.
I had better add a lot of "cool stuff" if they want me to purchase it. If it's still the same game engine they've used in the past 5 games, then you can count me out. I'm more interested in giving my money to developers who actually use the money they make to improve their games' engines, like the devs. of Battlefield and Killzone.
By now, we should be seeing a CoD game that looks twice as good as CoD4. Activision is a lazy and greedy company th...
