Where's all this hate for MW2 coming from???? As for people comparing a game they haven't played yet to Killzone 2?!?!? KZ2 was graphically superb, but overall it was just a slightly better than average FPS, nothing to write home about. I wouldn't consider myself to be a huge COD fan, but I think the the fact that a LOT of people still play MW1 to this day 2yrs after release speaks for itself. Why can't people just wait and see what they think for themselves, AFTER they've played it?!?!
Well if that's the case, milk away ND, milk away. If every sequel they do takes the same jump that Among Thieves did over Drakes Fortune, I'll gladly part with my money for the third/fourth etc. installment.
I can't remember the controls exactly in AC1 but I think it was just a matter of tapping instead of holding A/X (or the "legs" button or whatever button it was) to make him hop/jump. So you could actually jump in it.

You "don't know why everyone thinks it looks so great"??? Because it does look great!!! There are technical problems there alright, the framerate and texture pop-in, but over all the game looks amazing, even to this day.

Yes, it is needed!! I gave my PS2 away when I got my PS3 not knowing that it wasn't bc. The first thing I was gonna do was go through MGS 2 and 3 before I started on 4, only to discover the model I have wasn't bc. I still have all the classic PS2 games that I wouldn't mind going through again someday too, SOTC for instance and GoW 1 & 2 before 3 comes out. So come on Sony, just do it already!!!

It's a bit of a love hate relationship with Gears 2 for me. It is my fave multi player game, but only when it's working properly!!! They seriously need to do something about the lag/region search. When you have a good connection to host, I think it's the most fun you can have with an online game. But, when connection is bad, it's infuriating!! I agree Reaper. I only picked up NG2 a while ago and I haven't played the first one, and while I think it's good, I don't think it comes anywhere near GOW1/2 or DMC1/3

Demo is pretty good, but I hate the total punch control thing. Does anyone know if you'll be able to use the buttons like FNR3 for throwing punches in the full game?? If not, I think I might have to give this a miss.

I agree ReviewsArePolitics. I think U2 definitley topped KZ2 graphic wise. I wish GG started work on a new IP instead of a KZ sequel. I thought KZ2 was graphically amazing, but at the end of the day it was just another FPS and the universe/characters/story didn't appeal to me what so ever. I'd like to see them flex their muscle on something else.
